The purpose of armor is to protect life. Not fashion. The reason a punch hurts but a knife thrust kills despite having the same amount of force behind it is because the knife concentrates the force to one point. Armor is curved to distribute and deflect that force. If you did something stupid like add boob cups to platemail, you are only introducing places that force can be concentrated, because instead of being deflected off it will lodge into where the cup meets the plate and penetrate. Women throughout history have worn the same armor as men, because it's designed for a practical function that does not change between genders. Both male and female have everything availible to them with no detail changes like skin show I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own.
