Sanctuary of Thought 100% reduced mana cost ?

The recent 2.3 Skilltree release shows that Sanctuary of Thought ( Templar / Hierophant ) has
50% reduced Mana Cost of Skills 50% reduced Mana Cost of Skills while on Full Energy Shield Now if I am not mistaken that means permanent 0 mana cost in conjunction with Eldritch battery. Would be nice to know if this is intended or a "bug / misconception" that will be fixed. I suppose its actually only 50% reduced Mana Cost of Skills while on Full Energy Shield One version being extremly good the other being pretty useless. I think it is intended. Eldritch battery would make your energy shield useless and the 25% maximum mana to energy shield would also be useless. So in the end it's not worth it to get eldritch battery.

Do not forget the mini MoM notable before Sanctuary of Thought will make 100% reduced mana cost not always sustainable.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

you can get reduced mana cost elsewhere, you don't have to rely on full ES to gain 100% with this.
reduced mana gem with a couple of nodes, 50% entirely from passive tree, vertex mask etc there are quite a few options. |

GGG intended to have it be that way, but still 50% reduced mana cost of skills is nothing to scoff about. You can still get close to 100% with Dynamo cluster (12%), Righteous Decree cluster (12%), and Tireless cluster (15%) which puts you at 89% reduced mana cost of skills.

Though, while you will not spend ES because of BM, MoM should still take into consideration of ES (because of EB). reduced mana cost is such an unappreciated stat by the community.
I think this is actually going overboard 50% is a TON. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
