PoE already shrinking/dead?
Eh there are tons of viable builds i don't play hardcore though. Will try though when desyncs improved and maybe health node focus is a little balanced.

" You are extremely dumb if you think Tribes Ascend is bad. Extreeeeemely. |

I have, as many others have, said that this game, in its current state, will alienate a lot of casual and hardcore players alike.
Casual hits Merciless and realize mitigation means next to nothing in this game and explodes. Some re-roll, others just quit entirely. Hardcore hits Merciless content, realizes that the current game system pigeon-hole you into a short list of viable builds, and quickly runs out of things to do. I'm sure it'll fix itself in a month or two. I have faith in GGG on that point. Unfortunately, a sizable portion of players that have already left the game will not come back. In that, GGG has made a mistake. And don't tell me Merciless is fine. It's not. It's doable, but ruins the point of the massive passive tree. " Sure, except they all have the same underlying themes: stack HP or not get hit at all. Pretty much makes most of the keynodes on the passive tree entirely worthless. I think it was a big mistake to release this game as beta, but not wipe characters at the end of beta. This creates a misleading impression that this is not really a beta release and therefore less tolerance for issues.
I can certainly vouch that was my impression, as I don't usually play beta games because of issues that can detract from gameplay. So now we have a beta that attracts new players, only to have new players trashed by the rabid fanboy base that POE already has, for almost any suggestion that new players bring. I know I would have gone into this with a very different, and more tolerant mindset if this was a conventional beta that wiped characters at the end. " You act as though "fan boys" just started in PoE, video game forums especially for online games have had to cope with "fan boys" for ages. Nore do i think "fan boy" is a fare label for the majority of people. Seeing as allot of people don't have blind never ending love for the game but are just excited about the game. While not falling into the same pitfall you did making generalizations i will say, a majority of people claiming to be "new players" tend to forget that they are not the center of the universe. Beta or not this is a free game, if you like the game in general stick around it could get even better. If you don't like the game then leave. The amount of people who claim to have all these issues with the game or even say they "hate it" tend to stick around here... (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

" I said "rabid fanboy base", that does not imply that the majority of CB players are rabid fanboys, just that POE has a rabid fanboy base - of what size I do not know. I am sure even you can see that. Additionally, what words do I use that make you say that I think "fan boys" are a new phenomenon in POE? You have been rather guilty of trying to jam words into my mouth and then trying to slate me for what are actually, your words. . Dernière édition par Alienchild#1272, le 16 févr. 2013 à 21:52:27

" Hi-Rez's horrid mismanagement, lack of effort, and complete incompetence towards game balance, design, and game model most certainly cements Tribes: Ascend as a "bad game." I enjoyed my time with it, but it could've been so much better if it wasn't restricted to its idiotic free2play model. Oh, and if somebody other than Hi-Rez was working on it. I mean, have you seen their dev interviews? "Oh yeah, that thing you just said is a problem, but fixing it would be too hard. :<" repeated ad nauseum. |

" wha? your logic hurts my brain. just wipe your character when "beta" is over. problem solved. Its no ones fault but your own to assume something labeled "beta" is not a beta. |

" Your generalization are open for interpretation, if you want your posts to be taken literally don't leave things so open ended so i have to guess your rhetoric or inferences. I do apologies for missing your added degree of fan boy. However you claim that PoE has an established fan boy base rabid or not, how am i to take that? nor do i mention the CB players being "fan boys" or that a majority of them for that matter are "fan boys". Also my statement that "fan boy is not a fare label for a majority of people," was referring to the population labeled as "fan boys" i made no mention to the populations actual size. First notice that i say you "act as though", not that you say fan boys are a new phenomenon. You infer that new players cant handle the "rabid fan boy's" of PoE thus making the assumption that they have not dealt with "fan boys" before. I have not claimed to not be making inferences or "jamming words in your mouth," being because you made such accusations without being more specific to your views. I do find the irony in your post humors though. again this is lost in tone, I apologies. Just don't make claims like "i think it was a big mistake" if your not open to scrutiny.
