PoE already shrinking/dead?

Dunno, havent played POE 5 day or so. kinda tired be limitet with STR skill gems:/
onehand/shield user cant use sweep and there is not much skills to choose.

Just waiting game get more gems and loot.

This was expected. For many reasons. Some reasons of note are:
-system requirements to enjoy the full game
-blizztards that are spoon fed everything
-kids who can't get past cruel
-burn out from playing the same 3 acts 16 hours a day
-loss of hardcore high levels and temporary burnout

Everything will be fine if GGG keeps with the updates and dosn't break anything. Still tons of people online IMO

Might check in again after a couple of patches. The core of this game is excellent, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired (yeah I know, beta etc.).

It makes me weary starting up PoE because of the desyncs.. and I haven't even tried playing in a party because I don't want to experience the rage of someone taking the items that were supposed to be on my character. And of course I have a melee character so it's really difficult to play solo...

With those things combined... it's not worth it for me to play at this point in time.

I didnt play PoE all day today because I had an email telling me that my faulty GTX 670 had been replaced for a GTX 680, and the delivery tracking showed it was picked up and due for delivery today between 9 am and 6 pm.

So I waited. All day long. And no parcel!

I am fuming mad now :(

I didnt play much in last 3 days. Waiting for some REAL fixes (10.2 patch ? ).

i honestly didnt notice drop-down in players.Ofc that there is not much people as in OB first days thats normal for every game but many of them still playing.People are busy,some of them just taking a brake from game.Doesnt mean that game will lose players.I for example play this game for few days then taking a few days break.Not every1 can play same game again and again every day without taking a break.Its just a game after all not way of life.

As Arenanet said when they developed the first Guild Wars ... They never expected players would carry on playing the game for the long term. They expected that most players would play until they finished the game, and then leave. Their plan was to release the full expansion packs regularly which they believed would then bring those players back to play the new content until they finished it.

What really happened was that people loved the game and wanted to no life it. They demanded more end game PVE content and stuff to do, so then Anet added in all those grimdtastic titles.

And then I played GW2 and hated it.

If you think it's quiet now, you should have been around in closed beta :P

By comparison, the game has EXPLODED.
