Lag in game whenever I use Youtube/Twitch etc

I used to be able to watch or listen to youtube videos while playing but ever since 2.0 if I try to let it buffer whilst playing my ping will shoot up to 1000+. My regular ping is pretty poor without youtube sometimes. Can get 100+ ms when I'm used to 35 or so.

Both of those reports are indicating an unusually high response times at the first hop. This is usually the link between your computer and modem/router. Are you using a wireless connection by chance?

It might help to turn your modem/router off for several minutes and see if that improves things.

I'm using wireless, yeah. I did a router reset (which I should have thought of) and it has helped but it's still a bit choppy. Doesn't go as high as 1k so I guess that's a win for now.

I have the same issue with watching twitch streams. Whenever I watch them while playing my ping constantly (every 2-3s) goes from 40 to 200 then back down to 40. It annoys me so I no longer watch streams on twitch while playing which sucks.

I don't have any logs with WinMTR to report but what I do know is that when I play WoW, D3, and Dota 2 I have absolutely no problem watching streams while playing. My ping stays steady in every other game. I may be a networking noob but this makes me believe its caused by PoE.

I'm hardwired into my modem and have no one else on my network.

I have the same issue, and only with poe, other online games works fine when watchign youtube.twitch at same time

I want to also mention that I tried a VPN following the guide on these forums and it made the issue worse.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any help from GGG? This is starting to get rediculous. I've been in touch with my ISP and they can't find any fault on their end so it's either the game or my router and I'm not knowledgeable enough to say which :s

Seriously thinking about stopping playing.
