Singapore Gateway, Massive lag spikes
I'm in Korea and the new Auto-select server feature keeps selecting Singapore for me which is great except that I'm unable to connect to login server.

Latency is acceptable on weekday from morning to evening, but around 6pm onward to 1am is horrible, weekend is the worst. I first suspecting my isp since they are terrible, but seems like not only me is having this problem.

taken from reddit today [–]chris_wilsonLead Developer [score hidden] 2 hours ago The Awakening's lockstep mode makes internet issues much easier to notice, due to the fact that it can't render frames that it doesn't have any information on. I'd strongly recommend talking to your ISP. From what we can see, internet performance is a bell-shaped curve, where some users have it very bad. There's nothing we can directly do other than offer guidance on how they try to get it sorted out with their ISP. In general, problems on our end cause people to be disconnected, rather than for people to lag. no my internet connection have no problem at all, my fps stays 120 all the time and i dont get disconnected from playing in singapore server. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4505283777 |
