I want to be able to see streamers play the beta more then play it myself. If just dont have the patience for stuff like that.^^ But its nice to get a glimps at what is comming. Chris' FAQ post also clearly states they are looking for all kinds of players, not testers as you write it. My view is that people participating in the beta, whether they are casual or ultra dedicated, should understand what beta is about and contribute to testing by their tiny bit--this is not measured by number of hours spent playing. GGG should try to enlighten everybody, clearly articulate nature of beta and also provide easy to use feedback tools to encourage all those participating in beta to provide their feedback. Randomness is fine, and needs to be the "main" way to go, but some testers needs to be hand picked. That's what I meant. As I see it, the test is about act 4, not the whole game. Knowledge about act 1, 2 and 3 (the "old" game, if you want) should be a factor. 100% randomness does not exclude very new accounts. If it's the whole game that is being beta tested, yes, newbies should also be hand picked to ensure a totally "blind" view on everything. But to test act 4, the user has to know some key elements.
