Why keeping death characters in Hardcore?

Just delete your character when you die. Adapt to the game. The game doesn't adapt to you.

just fyi, there are many reasons people play softcore, my personal one is that my temper probably wouldn't tolerate any dissapointments which aren't my fault. for this i like the game too much.

One thing that I like about characters going to standard league is that whenever I get a new idea I have plenty of characters to test them on before having to build up something from scratch to see if it works (or not).

You are overlooking 1 thing.

You now have a highlevel character who can be used for testing in a safe area.

and since you don't care about standard cuz your are so hardcore, then you can spend any curency thare freely for regrets for re specking to test stuff before you spend your curency whare your savings are.

He deleted the character, and 37 is hardly "highlevel". xD

Because GGG wants to give people an incentive to try out hardcore. Without the frustration of losing the character forever, some people might be more inclined to try it, that's why you have the option to keep playing it in softcore if you want. Sry for derailing the sc vs hc circlejerk by answering your question :P

(Removed by support), WOW LOL. This is an AMAZING option. They give the option to someone who wants to make a new character, and why not try hardcore? give it a go, if you die at like level 40, you didn't waste your time, because you can still play them on softcore. Meanwhile, hardcore players can simply click delete and move on. It's an amazing choice, and you are honestly one of the dumbest people I have seen in a while. The fact that you can spend about a day of playtime to get to level 70 and then its completely wasted, sucks. On diablo I did the same thing. Max level, get decent gear, you lag or screw up, and you die, and its COMPLETELY gone. I don't play the characters I rip, but I leave them just to see how far I got with ( X ) build.

TLDR: OP is stupid AF and shouldn't be complaining when you can simply delete your character. I think he is just mad cuz he died and got sent to scrub core where he belongs.
