Why keeping death characters in Hardcore?

I died 5mn ago because of a lagg... And then, my character come back to Normal league instead of being unplaying forever.

I feel really dishonored, it's like "Hey dude, you failed with the pros, now you gonna play with the noobs"... I prefered to delete my character than to play in normal league...

I don't understand this mechanic, because hardcore players who decided to keep playing in normal league after a death in hardcore league have always this feeling that their character died in horrible conditions...
I lost all my motivation to play in normal league now with my which ! am I the only one who think that PoE should let the characters die like in D2 or D3?

According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?

First you make an excuse for why you ripped, and then you insult everyone who doesn't play in hardcore. Yeah you sound like a typical global 1 troll, alright. Me, I play in softcore whenever I feel like. I've got nothing to prove as far this game's concerned.
"No half measures here, thank you."

I deleted my hardcore character, this is not the question.

This is not really an "half mesure" to encourage players dead in hardcore to play in normal league and to mix them with the "noobs" (sorry for the word, but i haven't another). This is dishonorant and I don't know who's really gonna play his character after a death in hardcore, that's why i don't understand the mechacic.

This is a kind mesure, of course, not an "half mesure". In Hardcore, you let the character death with no possibility to play him again. It's not the same for a player to delete himself the character than to see the character death forever.

Thank you.

Exactly, it requires more willpower. Are you saying you can't resist the urge to play the normal league? Perhaps you aren't as hardcore as you think.

I'm not saying that i'm more an hardcore player than everybody. I'm new on this game, but i also played a lot of H&S games with HC mode.

Dying because of lagging servers doesn't hurt me at all, it happens in D3 and D2. But when i saw my character respawning, i was like "Wtf is happen? Wasn't I in HC?" and then disconnect to see my character in "Normal league".
I just want to say that this mechanic is not really in the "spirit" of the HC. A character who die won't be playable at all. Is it my reward to be remote to Normal League for spending 40 levels in HC? I don't think so. It's just dishonorant.

Can you tell me what difference there is betwenn HC and Normal League if when i die i don't die?

So you're new to this game, but players who have been playing in standard since closed beta are 'noobs'? Such logic!

Come on now, you only made it to 37.
That's pretty hardcore bro, certainly entitles you to feel superior to everyone in standard (chuckle).

Being new in PoE doesn't making me a noob. I play H&S since many years and i have enough experience to begin this game, I just needed to acquire the speficics mechacics with spells gems and aptitutes.
