WHY WHY IDIOTS ???GAME DESYNC AGAIN DIE ON HC!!
people who call Torchlight 1 and 2 "shit games"
do. not. know. jack. shit. about. ARPG. pure and simple. to me, TL2 is almost up there with Diablo (the real one. not D3), and not just because it's made by many of the same people. though the arguments about it's handling of sync are correct: it's an offline-based, all-local game, where multiplayer is secondary and is Peer-To-Peer instead of being hosted on a server. and TL1 didn't have any multiplayer at all. TL2 cannot possibly be brought as an example, of how a Path-Of-Exile-ish online-based, semi-MMO should handle connectivity. " As I mentioned earlier in this thread, de sync in Poe is basically non existent for me. I play HC and have never died to lag or desync. The funny thing is, despite Poe having the reputation of killing people with desync, it's diablo 3 that did that to me. I played for about a month at release, and every single death was due to lag. Mobs would just stop moving/freeze up for 10 seconds, then it would come back and I'd be instantly dead. The game was a huge disappointment for me anyway, but that was the last straw. Even though I am prone to dying on lag, I at least don't rage much. Besides, I hardly even get far at all.

" Diablo is amazing. Haters gonna hate. POE is amazing. Haters gonna hate. As for your diablo 3 deaths, probably your connection. If the servers have any problem, you'll see the chats raging about it, if it is only you... As for POE, the Desync is a game problem, not about the connection. Most of the desync can be avoided by playstyle. |

" I haven't played Diablo 3 since a couple of months after release. That was when I quit the game for good. Back then,I lost more than one character to lag spikes, disconnects or "rubberbanding". It was a well known server-related problem back then and had nothing to do with the client's connection. But maybe they improved that by now idk. Gotta say GGG improved the desync A LOT since the beta days. Today I barely even notice it 99% of the time. Also, you can easily play around it in most situations. Never lost a single char to desync so far. I think people are overdramatizing the whole desync thing. To be honest, I'd rather deal with desync than losing characters due to server issues like back in my D3 days. Dernière édition par Invisible_Frog#6445, le 23 déc. 2014 à 17:36:58

Not sure if they improved anything. Not sure, if they can at all. Not because they are unskilled, but i think that the game engine simply does not allow it(?).
D3 is fine now. Pretty fine. To be honest, i think it's an amazing game now. The Sirus fight is a disgrace.

" Well, you are talking about a moment where the servers had some problems. Blizzard apologized about that, and it is much better now. Reaper of souls is very good, the changes are just amazing. The game is 10x better now, and i'm not overstating this. i'm playing Poe AND Diablo 3. Both games have some amazing features and some that I don't like that much. oh, and btw, the Story of the Reaper of souls is very nice. Worth playing; |
