Is Path of Exile the most expensive game you've played?

I regret giving them my money personally but hey can't change it.

I made sure I paid GGG more than I ever paid Blizzard in my life ! I've played WoW actively for 4 years, including quite some server transfers and all that bullcrap, so I became eternal supporter. So yes it's my most expensive game and totally worth it !

World of Warcraft is the most expensive game i've ever played.

POE was all about some stashes and some cosmetic effects. But to be honest: Not willing to pay any money to them right now.

That honor for me goes to a game called Indomitus by Koramgames. Spent a little over 6k US.
Runner up would be 7 years of EQ expansions and subs.

On the other hand one of the cheapest games for me would be LOTRO. Bought a lifetime sub for $199 at the end of closed beta in 2007 if I remember the date correctly. Once they switched to a Free to Play model I get free cash shop money every month because of the lifetime sub :)

well if I calculate how much I make per hour on my dayjob and compare that to ingame time ... yes

Hehe. I did that, too. I still have 3 million things (astral-something) there, but haven't logged in since the second month. Got them at a really great exchange rate, too.

Those lockboxes were really hard to resist, just like scratch tickets.

For me it is easily the most expensive game: I spent more than 100 euros whereas singleplayer PC games cost 40-60 euros. I haven't played much online games (except a few free ones) and that is the reason why nothing can compare with PoE.
