Concentrated effect and Molten Strike - GGG please clarify

It's tagged as AoE. The confusion of course could be avoided by having an area tag, or by not making odd exceptions.

It has AoE tag, because it cover area, but..

All skills in game which deal AoE damage create "circle of damage", every enemy standing in that circle takes AoE damage

Ball Lightning, on the other hand, does not have such circle. It is a projectile that moves forward and strikes individual enemies within its range with lightning bolts.. Lightning Arrow does the same thing uppon impact..

Can you see the difference?

Exactly, it doesn't 'cover' an area. It hits enemies within an area with 'something', it's especially apparent on LA which has limited amount of targets, if it covered an area it would be able to hit everything in it. Arc also has a certain radius centered on last hit from which it picks the next target.

..which I describe in detail in the rest of quoted post.. "cover an area" expression I used wasnt a good one, right..

edit: correct expression would be: "..have it´s range defined by AoE radius"

Of course, just confirming it makes sense despite the unfortunate wording.

I took the Conc gem out because I wasn't able to notice a difference. And that mana cost is so high.

So... final answer is...?

which one guy rofl... raics said he's got screenshots of his testing, that's about as objective as you can get, nothing pretentious about objective evidence nor detailed explanations

this reminds me of the one time i got harassed for "using big words" in global chat because i said something like "indicated" rofl
