GETTING SO PISSED OFF AT FUCKING CYCLONE SKILL
I think PoE prediction system can not handle multiple predictions in the case of multistrike-cyclone or repetitive WB. That's the downside of not having deterministic simulation on client.

never understood why people would want multistrike on cyclone.
Cyclone, a skill about finesse, where you click where you want to spin very specifically. Multistrike, a support that makes it randomly target any enemy, no control over who, and then you spin all teh way there. They seem to be a bad idea to combine, before anyone comments about desync. I was suprised they even worked together tbh. One thing that would help cyclone though is if they made it so it could NOT target people, was PURELY a ground click. That would make it much easier to control. |

I understood all your words you wrote on the screen, I just did not understand from a logic perspective.
Multistrike is all about trading targeting ability for aspd/multiple hits. Now that can be very beneficial when you can use positioning properly to control the loss of targeting. But with cyclone, the dps, efficiency, the very VALUE of the skill is based on the ability to target precisely, and get that perfect spin. Back in D2 days you were very precise in where you were controlling it to make it as good as possible. Losing that value of targetting precisely seemed like a very stupid decision. Even if it didn't desync it still seems like a very bad decision. There is also 'engagement time', which I list as a different word because attackspeed doesn't fit here. The time it takes between the start of the attack and the end (when you can start another animation/action). Cyclone already has a long engagement time depending on distance travelled. Multistrike just makes it seem like this would be significantly too long an engagement time |

" Unless you are playing on the server itself, netcode already makes all that approach null as what you see on client is not true most of times. Even if we could in a magical dream world with no desynch, it is not like enemies comes in 2-3 packs spread around tactically. They come in hordes of 10-20-30s that all rush towards you mindlessly. Btw you are talking about efficiency, but totally neglecting the efficiency of numbers. MS on cyclone grants these bonuses separately mana efficiency more life gain per hit with ASpeed bonus more dps |

Even with MS, comparing it to MS on say cleave, you can see a noticeable decerase in effective targetting.
And I can manage cyclone fine, but maybe I am weirdly skilled at this from playing in NZ and used to being on US servers with lag |

" I think your misunderstanding comes from your assumption of cyclone requiring any targeting at all. If mobs spread similar to TQ in PoE, then sure positioning and managing cyclone would have some value. But in current zerg rush model of 20+ mobs you can turn off your screen and click randomly without losing much efficiency ;) |

I got to admit...
No multi-strike. Upgraded to $120 a month good ISP. Bound Stand Still to Space as well as shift. Gave up my urge to click spam in a 'mouse killer' game where your suppose to. Going most movement speed talents - still fucks it! Actually, from what I can tell. ALL movement type gems totally suck with desync. Also... Lock box's... FFS! Sure they 'desync less' if you ID them, make sure they haven't rolled skele's. But they still fucked! (Tho I guess I'm not pissed off I spend real $ on a skin to make them pretty... unlike desynclone.) |
