How to deal with Corrupting Blood ?

What's your HP?

If under 4.5k then take off multistrike.

5.3k with 13k armor (without granite flask but with grace and determination)
And i cant really take off multistrike for two reasons :
- I would rape myself with cyclone due to BM gem
- It doubles my atk speed and i use LGoH

it's not hard man. if you see your life dropping faster than a prom dress, activate all panic flasks

make sure at least 1 of your panic flasks includes staunch, and you're fine.

and get in the habbit of watching your top aura indicator more. after a while if something new appears (status effect, corrupting blood, etc), it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Like i said before, i sometimes dont have the time to react, it is too fast.
Well if you really think you can't catch it with a staunching then I'll list the only ways to mitigate corrupted blood.

Armor does not affect corrupted blood since it's a pure degen with no on-hit effect. Endurance charges/immortal call will mitigate corrupted blood though, in the latter case it would do 0 damage to you. Incorporate those into your build if you want a direct counter.

Against most corrupted blood I use 1 staunching(at 20 stacks) and my HP does not even go down by 500(since I'm leeching life, got 1% regen and 5 APS)). Of course there is that 5% of CB enemies that can be insane but I've honestly encountered none this whole league(I've run 600+ maps easily).

play hardcore for a few months

this problem will be solved. it's probably just a matter of not paying enough attention to your health pool, which to me means you haven't really trained yourself to value the life of your character

in which case, this same problem will happen with many mechanics, not just corrupting blood.

It only happens with corrupting blood, and i played hardcore a few months.

@ksub armor does mitigate since its a dot calculated on initial dmg (source ggg staff in another topic)

It does not. There is no initial damage since it's a pure degen. You misread your source.
"
But since you are sure armor does not count may i ask you your source ?

Nothing used to mitigate corrupted blood. There was a patch that made only immortal call/endurance charges mitigate reflect(well enfeeble works too).

Your link has people explaining the same thing I said.

Also the source I assume you read is actually a dev saying armor does not mitigate CB(a pure degen), I recall reading that recent post. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/895469/page/2
