It doesn't matter that that isn't the "most important part", or if it does anything or not. What IS important is that you said it "doesn't decrease enemy dps", which is wrong.

Maybe you don't know that DPS stands for Damage per second, and that Attack/Cast Speed affects this.. Maybe it slipped your mind and you were thinking of "Damage" specifically when you posted that, but regardless, it does not change the fact that your statement was incorrect.

Temporal Chains having other uses, or Enfeeble being better or worse for Enemy DPS-reduction, isn't at question here. Only the fact that Temporal Chains DOES, indeed, reduce DPS, and that you said that it DID NOT.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said that it only decreases DPS. You tell people that they need to read other people's posts, yet you fail at comprehending anything they have written. You told me I was wrong when I was not and you also claimed I said it "only" decreases DPS, when I did not. You're not going to "make me wrong" by putting words in my mouth and then saying those are wrong.

No one needs to explicate everything they say in worries of some overly anxious person saying you're wrong, simply because you didn't copy and paste the entire tooltip. You can read a tooltip and easily see that there are more effects. The important part here was that I was telling the original poster that having temporal chains on hit will decrease incoming DPS more than most armor items in that slot, if you are not already using a curse on them (which is unlikely that a new player would be).

I would suggest, the next time this issue comes up in a thread, that you have something to add (or would like to further elaborate on), just say "Yes, and there are additional benefits of that skill, that you can take advantage of as well, like this this and this. Also, if you're worried about that skill, you can consider another skill when you get it, that does everything that does, and this stuff too!" That way you're being helpful, without spreading misinformation.
