Can't bind all mouse buttons
I have 2 buttons on the side of my mouse (logitech M510) but POE lets me bind only one of them. When I bind the other it overwrites the previous binding, as if both buttons are treated as one (both called M4 in POE). The middle button on the mouse is garbage so I effectively I only have 3 buttons. Any way to fix that?

Make sure the button does what it should, not some special task.
![]() Other than that, I don't know what to tell you, maybe try AutoHotKey or AutoIt etc. |

This is about the side buttons tho. Do you have the same mouse and can you assign both of them correctly? Then the problem would be on my end, but they work normally in all other apps and games, POE being the only one that doesn't let me assign them.

" Right, so give us more information about your settings, I showed you a screenshot of what to look at. |

" I think Holocaustus is asking you what "Task" you have your "Forward" and "Back" buttons set to. You're showing how the "Middle" button is set. Holocaustus doesn't like using the middle button. His side buttons (forward and back) are both performing the same task in PoE only. So, essentially he only has 3 mouse buttons in-game. (Left, Right and Side buttons). See if changing them to keystroke assignments and give them 1-5 etc will allow you to bind them to whatever is bound to those keys.

" Pretty much. I wasn't asking for a fix for my MMB being garbage; that can't be helped. :p Shop closed until further notice. Check out my Dominus musical tribute instead:

Hey there,
It is possible that in your mouse settings, you have these two buttons assigned to the same key. You may need to set one of these mouse buttons to another key. Could you confirm if this is the case? If not, feel free to let us know and we will be sure to follow up where necessary. Need Support? support@grindinggear.com.

Holocaustus,
I wish I could help you more, but I have a different mouse. Although, it probably works similarly. According to the M510 User Manual, the side buttons can be customized. The default should be to page forward or back in web browsers, Windows Explorer, etc. Do your mouse buttons work outside of PoE? If not, access your mouse Control Panel and see if you can reassign the mouse buttons to their default settings. (Although, this should not be necessary if your side buttons work like you want them to). To assign the side buttons in PoE,
I hope that helps. And I hope that works for you. Read My Links!: http://www.theamazonbasin.com/forums/index.php?/topic/121389-read-my-links/

They perform their default function (back & forward) everywhere else, like the browser I'm typing in now. They can be customized individually in all other games, just not in POE.
Apologies if that wasn't clear enough originally; English is not my first language. Shop closed until further notice. Check out my Dominus musical tribute instead:
