The "Wealthy" mod

I have played PoE since the open beta (several hundred hours before the Steam version and now 850 hours in steam) and today for the first time I encountered this mod. At first I thought it was a fairly new mod but then after investigating, it turned out it has been there for a long time. Seriously, how rare the mod actually is?

I've had it about three times in three years.

In the 1800 hrs Ive spent in the game, I met ONE. It didn't drop shit. Like literally, it dropped 3 rares and one blue 6s in 120% IIQ map. So wealthy...

The name of the mod on the monster is " Inner Treasure ", I believe. I've seen 3 or 4 on rare maps and 2 or 3 have dropped a unique. I wouldn't say there is a loot explosion, in comparison to the amount of loot dropped by other rare monsters.

" nope! thats something different. inner treasure drops 1 unique! i don't know what ggg did to the "wealthy" affix as it does NOTHING! absolutely NOTHING! had one rare this week with this affix and it dropped 2 rares and some crap ... just like any other rare could drop. i find one of those every once in a while and it never dropped anything not even speaking of lootsplosion. GGG remove it or fix it. |

Found mobs with Wealth mod like 3 or 5 times. It is big surprise when mobs start droping a lot of items.

Seen if a few times, never counted. Have not seen much of value drop from them - just more crap hidden by the item filter.
Inner Treasure also seen a few times, and much more interesting! |
