The "Wealthy" mod

One in-game load screen tip claims that the very rare wealthy mod yields big loot when you slay the monster it predicates. Is that still accurate? I have played this now 5 months and have never seen that mod. Ever. Anyone?

I've been playing for a while and encountered very few of them, but it's always a pleasant surprise when I do. Ce post contient des objets qui sont actuellement indisponibles.

I found one a few months ago, and yes i only knew when it died and that huge WTF moment when the entire screen exploded with loot. It was awesome.

I've seen two so far. They are not as special as they sound. I'd say they drop around the same amount of items that a Large Chest does.

They changed the text on the loading screen a few patches ago.
It used to say something like "they drop vast amount of loot" now it says they "drop better quality items" or something. It's been a while since I saw that screen. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

I found a wealthy necro once, dropped about 15 blues and a wp scroll in normal.

Very rare. I've had more uniques drop than wealthy mobs.
