I admit I have no idea what happens when playing in a party... Texture quality is usualy in documents\my games\Path of exile\production_config The higher u set the number, the lower the texture. I have it on 2. on 3 it kinda looks blocky and higher is crazy, fun to test but yeah xD You can also turn certain sounds off if you dont need them, it supposedly helps performance quite a bit. But why should i lower my settings for a game my pc should be able to handle 10 times over. Performance is being boosted in upcoming patch so Im hoping it will be better. Even so, its not only the frame drops that occur with certain spells / effects. Its a huge mass of flashing, especially since so many people play with lmp dogs or spork.
