You are forgetting the church and chamber of sins. The are the maps I am mostly referring to I guess.

The church I am not sure about as I don't run it too often, but chamber of sins is fairly predictable
Map hack exist that no question about it but there no way to tell if someone using it.

Church is usually pretty straight-forward; you can kind of tell just by looking at the map you've already unveiled which ways are likely to be dead-ends, and just avoid those. (especially since you can often see the map revealed for rooms you haven't even been in yet. And the final boss area always looks the same too.

Chamber of sins isn't so easy though. It's pretty easy to find the long corridor on level 3, since it always looks the same and won't fit in most places. But the other two levels I still find really hard to navigate correctly. I think there might be some 'landmarks' you can use to guide you, though (like that long 'yellow' bridge in the waterfall cave) but I haven't worked them out yet for Chamber of Sins. I always end up following some path for ages before finding out its a dead end.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

How is this beta feedback again?
When a banker jumps out of a window, jump after him, that's where the money is.

For the first portion of sins, its in one of the four corners. For the second, I can't remember, but I believe its if you come out facint SW, the next level is normally towards the NE or NW, though to be fair I can't remember. It is fairly consistent though

Thanks for the tips! Especially the level 1 one. :)

In my experience, whenever I come out on level 2 facing SW, the NW path always seems to lead to a dead-end! I'll try looking for a NE path (out through the SE door) though and see if that helps next time.

Well, 4 corners covers pretty much the whole map :)

But yeh, I agree, often it's easy to find where to go. But if you're 100% consistent of finding exits on every map without backtracking of any kind, that is quite a feat.

It exists there was this race stream once, where this rather inexperienced guy joined a vested group of players, he was leading for quite some time but at one point said: no we need to go this way, while all other 5 assumed a different route and than he was right and when asked how did you know there came no reply...

I have no idea which stream I was watching at the time, but it killed races for me in the competitive sense.
Map hacks are actually fairly easy due to the way PoE handles map data; when loading the zone (before you even take a single step), the seed for the entire map is delivered by the server and the only thing that keeping the entire map from being revealed instantly is all client-side. In my signature I have a thread on this; Chris said that a fix is incoming.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Yeah, it is a known thing. But still, a lot of maps can be predicted as well, that being said some are more difficult.

As to the '4 corners' comment, yes, it does cover the whole map. But its always a p(almost) perfect square, so you go SW, SE, NE and you've found it, sometimes longer if its NE, but yeah. And that path is always open to run, going NE first you can hit a wall of that weird stuff
