Leap slam uses its own attack speed rather than your weapons, so only gems or attack speed on gear improves its speed.

So people use faster attacks with leap slam just so they can travel around the map faster?

Not to mention it is safer if you Leap faster. And for people who use Leap Slam for dps, attacking faster = more dps.

I wasn’t paying attention and opened a t11 map with phys reflect which needless to say I destroyed myself on my Stardorge cyclone slayer but was able to finish the map by leap slaming everything. I was very surprised at the damage it did and that was with no damage gems supporting it
