Personally I just loot anything that is:
currency, rare, superior, 4/5/6 linked, 6 socketed or red-green-blue linked.
I'm getting a bit bored of the superiors tho, i think i have 7 tabs full of them since hte last time i could be arsed to melt them all down.
i just keep one tab of weapons and one tab of armors. when it fills up, make a whetstone/armor scrap

It only shows ones you have things to make. try saving up a bunch of superior junk. if you get 40% worth of weapons or armor you'll see the one for blacksmiths whetstone or armor scraps.
One day perhaps we'll get around to putting in a page with info about all the recipes in there :p
jUST a note that the addon marks 20% items as being able to get whetstone or scraps but doesn't account for the item having to be of white quality. if it isn't white then you need 40% as usual.

There's a ticket in to figure out what the deal was with that. I'll see if i can get a fix in for it next update.

try doing "refresh -> full"
but sometimes that error is because the actual PoE site is broken.
if it persists have a look in the javascript console and see if there is an error you can cut n paste here. 'ctrl-shift-j'

Update 0.79
Tidied up inventory config view
Updated quality item recipes (i.e 40% armor etc)
added some itemdata
combined 'resist all elemental' into individual fire/cold/lightning values.

Same thing happened to me. Disabled adblock extensions. Did not help. Logged into the PoE website with remember me. worked like a charm.
