How to bypass flicker strike cool down?

Hello,
So with this new cool down for flicker strike (which i hate it)
I am having a hard time using flicker strike, i used to use this a lot when surrounded by monsters or for quick attacks.
I understand we can bypass by using frenzy charges.

My question is how do i do that?
How do i get frenzy charges? I have a frenzy gem but cool down still 3 seconds.

Not that I can directly answer your question, but I can assure you that I party with lvl 40+ shadows who still happily flicker around at sickening speeds to make me feel Ill watching them cause me to have a epileptic fit.

Someone will tell ya how I am sure :)

I would, but I havent played the new shadow at all and didnt really play the old one.

For starters, use that Frenzy skill your gem is granting you - every hit with it, while expensive, grants you a frenzy charge (up to your cap).

While you have at least one frenzy charge, you can use Flicker Strike while it's cooling down; doing so consumes a frenzy charge.

The refrains are all the same:

You have to hit something with Frenzy.
Each hit (not miss) grants one frenzy charge.

BTW I'm a Marauder and I flicker OK now still getting used to it. Frenzy has become my main attack with flicker on middle and sweep on right click.

Might be other ways to get frenzy charges dunno but Frenzy skill is easiest I think.
If you're good enough and your build can utilize it, blood rage is an excellent way to use flicker strike indefinitely(or at least until the mob pack dies) without waiting for a cooldown.

You can also try to build around Terminus Est for a 2h flicker build.

Go CI, and use Bloodrage. There's your frenzy charges without actually using the Frenzy skill, and the life it takes using it doesn't apply :)
Lol Facelicker just posted the same thing.

I'm a Marauder also but i have Heavy strike as my main attack.

How does blood rage helps with flicker strike?

Attack speed. Ridiculously high attack speed.

Blood rage is a buff that grants frenzy charges at the expense of life degeneration. As long as Blood rage is active, you continually gain frenzy charges every time you kill an enemy. If you make a kill with flicker strike, you'll gain a frenzy charge while under the effect of Blood Rage. This allows you to constantly bypass the cooldown so long as you are making kills. Blood rage is a nice way to gain charges without having to actively switch your attacks.
Kind of a sidenote, but does anyone else think the charge-consuming cooldown concept is friggin' brilliant? It let them balance skills like flicker with a cooldown, while still leaving us options to find creative builds that bypass that cooldown, while in the process adding another layer to the charge system to encourage players to incorporate charges as core parts of builds. I hope we see more ways to build and spend charges as the game matures. I'm building a Frenzy Archer right now, and maybe I'll pop flicker strike in an alternate melee weapon set for mobility. I could finally use my Sidewinder macro keys for something (x->use flicker strike->x).
