Asenath's Gentle Touch --Review & What level Temporal Chains?

maybe the level of the curse is dependant on the char, so it cant tell exactly

maybe test them on a lvl 1 char and your highest lvl and see if there is a difference in size, its a long shot, but easily tested

if you apply it to someone in a test pvp match they can see how long it is, if its above 5 sec its lvl 11+ (make sure you dont have any duration items or skills)

if you really wanna find out take a lvl 1 temp chains and start leveling it, testing it in a test pvp match every lvl, comparing the gloves proc to the the one you are lvling. start with the gloves and use a reference point in the landscape (never pvp'ed so dont how the zone looks or if there is a special good point to use). make your helper move until the edge of the gloves proc is aligned to your reference point, try the spell one on your target and if they are touching your reference point with the edge, they are the same lvl (we can assume)

anyway the timer one will quickly let you see if its above lvl 11 anyways, assuming the proc acts the same way as the skill which it probably does.

cant test myself as i dont have the gloves

I'm leaning to at least +1 curse because the party hassle of using them is a HUGE drawback... when people use these i ask them to take swap them or get kicked. way too big of a drawback currently to justify these when you can just cast TC regularly.

Interesting comments and I agree that it should be treated as something apart from the regular curse cycle. What do you see as the 'HUGE drawback'? My character is designed as a support character. By using these I can lay down up to three curses at a time. I have the flexibility to combine pretty much any curses. For me I put down TC and Enfeeble most of the time when only doing two. Other times I put down TC, Enfeeble, and either Ele Weak, or Proj Weak.

the drawbacks are numerous. first off, there's a dozens of other gloves I would rather use solo. secondly if you are running random public party, as I said, you are overriding all other curses which tends to piss people off. and third, even if you are entirely support based the conduit glove are infinitely better because you get 15% cast speed/attack speed and at least few passives saved.

It takes like 1/2 to a 1/3 of a second to cast a curse and temp chains are very situational(bosses, rhoas, curtains/queens etc). As support i would rather have the conduit gloves then rock gmp ice spear and frenzy 15% faster.

I'm currently using these on a wander.

1. The temp chains is low level. I used to run a high level temp chains on my EK and the slow here isn't even comparable.

2. The temp chains overwrites all curses. Even somebody with dual / tri curse, 2-3 hits will remote all there curses and stack temp chains on it.

The gloves are fun for soloing because the curse is sort of useful and makes for a pretty decent enemy marker. However, the level should be higher or at the very least it should stack on top of other curses rather than overwrite them.
