Question about mana reserve passive

If i get some nodes that reduce mana cost(3%, 5% and 10%), will that also reduce the mana cost of my aura?

or would only the 4 reduce mana reservation are able to do that?

I believe that reduced mana costs is everything, including auras, whereas reduced mana reservation is just the auras. Anyone else wish to comment?

Edited: mistake noted. Only mana reservation reducing passives reduces aura reservation costs.

Reduced mana cost passive nodes don't affect auras. Only the reservation nodes do that.

Reduced mana gem affects both, but its quality bonus doesn't affect auras.

No, it works on auras too, just another example of confusing descriptions at GGG.

There are two types of mana "costs": mana reservation and mana cost. Skills have a mana cost, auras have a mana reservation. The gem is just reduced mana so it applies to both cost and reservation. Also note, the quality bonus on a reduced mana gem is reduced mana cost, so the quality bonus only applies to skills.

What the support gem does is multiply the cost by less that 100%, so in turn, using less mana.

there are reduced mana COST nodes and reduced mana RESERVATION nodes

the reduced cost do work i think, the auras cost less to initially CAST but the reserve is the same.

reduced mana gem DOES work on auras and you should easily be able to tell it does
however quality on the gem does not help to reduce reservation

You cast the aura for 30 mana but at the same time it reserves 40 mana thus making you pay the 40 mana anyway? sound fishy^^
