I have seen 6s chests and 2 handed weapons only. can anyone link a 4+ socket tower shield please? Would like confirmation before I spend orbs on mine.
Not that I dont believe you, but I have seen dozens of tower shield drops (Shagreen tower shields are super common), and never one with 4 or more sockets.

And i haven't really paid attention to the tower shields i collected, so i too would in this case like to see one, to confirm that they can have 4+ slots.

1h and offhand (like shields) can only get 3 links/sox, only bows and 2h weapons can get 6links/sox.

Though were does the mythos about the possible 6L on the tower shields come from? Well i guess people just saw the size of the shield and thought that it can have so many slots...

Older beta versions had large shields with up to 6 sockets.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

Which support gem would go with dual strike best? I cant decide betwen critical strike incrementing one and the cold damage adding one ...
