[3.24] fezz's Toxic Rain Champion - Step-by-Step PoE Build Guide for Beginners & Casuals
" If you follow the build guide correctly, you have: 1. Enduring Mana Flask (which means the flask effect continues although you have full mana) 2. Mana flasks gain a total of 4 charges every 3 seconds (via 'Arcane Chemistry', 'Replenishing Remedies' and 'Flask Mastery' on your skill tree) This allows you to have pretty much unlimited mana flask usage. I tried to replicate your mana status and just made a clip to showcase this (you could actually spam the flask and only have rare times where you don't regenerate mana, but if you press your mana flask like every 4-6 seconds, you will be absolutely fine). Hey mate
So I wanted to give some more feedback on this guide I am now level 75 in SSF HC and started mapping. The build feels very safe and damage feels okay as well. As I said although I started playing this game 10 years ago it feels hard to get into it if u skipped some leagues, so I am still very thankful for this guide. Good concept, easy to follow and get into, well explained, good job. 1: Wrong Link On the site https://poe-beginner-guide.com/toxic-rain-champion/campaign/act-4/ under "Switch gems in your Ballista Totem Setup" you have a link called "(G) Withering Touch Support" which actually leads to "https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Faster_Attacks_Support" 2: Wrong text on skilltree On your skilltreeimage "https://poe-beginner-guide.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Toxic-Rain-Champion-Passive-Skill-Tree.png" point 17 says "Auras from your Skills have 15% increased Effect on you" but its actually only 10% 3: Vitality early on does not work On the site "https://poe-beginner-guide.com/toxic-rain-champion/campaign/act-4/" under "Buy Determination from the vendor" early on you want the people to run determination/vitality/malevolence after having certain skillpoints. This did not work from me after multiple checking the skills and requirements. I skilled it all and had my enduring mana flask ready but running all those auras left me with 3 mana. My solution was to not activate vitality. With the life leech and some caution I could still run Rage. Later on with more increased mana notes I could run a low vitality (always checked that I had around 80 mana left) which felt fine with enduring mana flask, possible to even run with less mana left. Later on I think somewhere we pick more reduced mana reservation skillpoints, then I could level vitality and still had more than 1XX mana left. Those I discovered so far. I will let you know when I have more feedback. Its very fun to play with this guide, definitly recommended
The 'Vitality'-Problem I experienced aswell.
During Campaign I got myself a Stone Golem to give the needed LifeRegen. During leveling he is tanky enough to not really die.
Same, im in act 5 and tried to make vitality keep up with blood rage and ended up with 23 mana x.x, now i can't even cast despair and vitality still dont heal enough, should i delevel vitality one level(it was playable with enduring flask) and rely on health potions?

" 1. Fixed, thank you. 2. Fixed, thank you. 3. I will double-check that, thank you! Dernière édition par fezz8386, le 29 août 2022 12:01:50

" I would rather decide to not use Vitality and Blood Rage (it's really not that crucial). Dernière édition par fezz8386, le 29 août 2022 12:05:29

Howdy, I'm a complete noob and I'm liking your guide so far.
Wondered if you could explain what the colours mean on the loot filter, or if your guide has that info somewhere I missed, I don't know what I should be picking up as priority :) Thanks!
" If you are new to the game, you should at least pick up everything that's red and blue.
Do you happen to have an updated PoB link. the one in the post doesnt have the completed tree.
|
|
" What do you mean? The tree in the PoB shows everything until level 95. After that, everything is non-crucial and you can pick whatever you want or need (e.g. more life, more spell suppression if needed, etc.). |
