I will skip the league, so the most I can do is just check the patch notes/new skill tree and give an estimation from that.

I will get around to it tomorrow, but the skill tree has been changed in such a big way that it might very well be more efficient to go with another class(berserker most likely) if the good damage nodes were moved closer to that class.

But from skimming the patch notes and briefly looking at the skill tree, I see no reason why it should not work - most likely it will retain the Budget to Power ratio that it had earlier and will be a very strong starter.

this might be very noob question bcs i didnt play for 6 months but is awakened multistrike good for this build ? i know its expensive just want to know if upgrade from normal multistrike is viable or 100% nah
