Why are we using both assassins mark and the curse on hit ring? We can only have one curse up at a time, right?

Animate Guardian have +1 curse on his chest which brings the curse limit up to 2 when he hits something.

But yeah, you're supposed to run Elemental Weakness on his Gloves and Assassin's Mark, not Frostbite on your ring.

I use Frostbite when on my Ring because I'm lazy though and don't like to apply Assassin's Mark. If I ever want to apply Assassin's Mark I can still do it manually. My current setup is slightly scuffed because I actually have 3 curses but can only use 2. So basically:

- Elemental Weakness is always up from AG.
- I apply Frostbite with BV when I'm lazy to trash monsters in maps or bosses.
- Assassin's Mark is selfcast on bosses if I want a stronger curse (AM is much better than Frostbite).

White map POB (https://pastebin.com/WhwvALKZ)

Notes say to buy all these great jewels but they're not allocated in the White Map Tree (only the Yellow Map tree in the same POB.. not sure if it's just a renaming error.

Yeah, that's because you use 3 of the jewels for the Anima Stone Recipe.
Turn in x1 of Each primordial Jewel and you get an Anima Stone when sold to a vendor :) (Usually saves ~15 chaos to turn in yourself rather than outright buy Anima Stone)
Oh I know the recipe.. just odd the notes for buying them is mentioned in the White Map POB but they are only allocated in the Yellow map POB ;)

Edit:

In the POBs for Low (all 3 versions) and medium budget the field for "Enemy Skill Physical Damage" has a "1" in them.

I'm not entirely sure how PoB calculates Effective Hit Pool (EHP) but I just found it odd.

In the mirror tier POB it says 5000.

Other than that all the POBs look very good (I can't comment to gearing strategy etc) but the notes reflect the tree and gear on the characters etc.

It's easy to read and follow.

PoB calculates the standard hit at 1. Put since I put the target as Sirus to get correct dps calculations, it puts the enemy phys hit as 1.5 times the base damage of Sirus for whatever reason (Sirus doesn't even hit, he cast spells).

So I forced it back at 1 to get the original EHP values against small hits.
If you uncheck the "Is the target a boss" from Sirus to no the EHP goes back to its original values.

The 5000 phys damage in the high budget version is just a relic of the past from when I wanted to see how big my phys damage mitigation was against a weak slam attack doing 5k damage. Forgot to remove it cause the mitigation is the same as had an attack dealt 1 damage (Meaning 90% mitigation).

The same goes for all other PoBs aswell. No matter whether a hit does 1 dmg or 5000 damage, the phys mitigation stays at roughly 90%.
It's when you get into bigger hits like Shaper Slams(10k damage) that the phys damage mitigation gets lower.
League Start Atlas Strategy:
I've added a league start atlas skill tree in the 3.18 spoiler at the top of the guide. Figured some people might want to know how I will league start my atlas and might aswell share it.

[3.18] League Start Atlas Tree:
League Start Atlas Skill Tree

General Strategy:
The thinking is pretty simple. I'm gonna focus on Essences, Blights and Heist in the beginning and block most other content. I want my maps to be fast and I want to selffarm as many blighted maps possible due to how profitable they are at league start when bubble gum currency is super valuable.

Blights can also be hardcarried by Meteor Towers which allows me to run them with all Blight nodes in absolute trash gear. Same thing applies to Blighted maps. Most other content will need pretty high investment gear like Cold Iron Points, various 6-links, Dead Reckoning et.c. which will be very high investment. I'm planning to just farm Blights and Blighted maps in a tabula directly on league start.

Alch and Go andn league mechanic blocking:
During league start, I'm also going to be picking up stream of consciousness extremely fast. It's the ultimate Alch'n Go Keystone and I wont bother with Scarabs the first day cause there will be no supply and they'll cost a ton. By blocking other content and running this node we should have a ~45% chance to get Blights and Smugglers Stashes in our maps. I think we'll also have a 100% chance to get an additional Essence for free.

The reason I pick Heist and Essences is cause they're super fast mechanics with minimal friction to your gameplay. It's basically click and loot pinatas which will allow me to rush through maps quickly.

map Sustain and Shrines:
Since it's a league start tree, I'm also rushing all Map Sustain nodes to quickly progress through the atlas. I'm also going to be trying out the Shrine nodes for some extra pack size and Shrine buffs to hopefully make maps easier and faster.

Why block other mechanics:
The idea behind this strategy is a quick and simple method that generates as little friction in gameplay as possible with mechanics that are easy in absolute trash gear. Things like Legions, Metamorphs and breaches are only worth it with high investment scarabs and sextants imo. They're also pretty hard in league start gear. Expedition is only worth it with Scarabs imo and those are going to be expensive and sought after. Expedition won't be very profitable either since Gwennyn rerolls won't be worth anything at the start.

Ritual and Abyss are just garbage mechanics that don't give any good rewards either imo. After losing my AG to a volatile dead strongbox last league I'm nevr touching strongboxes again either.

Harbingers
Initially planned to do Harbingers but decided against that cause Harbingers just aren't very good. Alot of Data has been collected on them and if you disregard Mirror Shard drops (GL with that), a Harbinger is on average worth 1.5 chaos. (You can find alot of Harbinger Data on youtube).
That means I would spend dozens of points just to get about 1 extra Chaos per map due to the guaranteed Harbinger which is why I opted for Shrines instead to make maps smoother.
harbingers are really only worth it if you use the Sextant for them. When you do that, the average return from 1 Harbinger jumps up to ~6 chaos each instead.

Post League Start Atlas:
As I'm gathering watchstones and finishing more Maven invitations I'll be unspeccing the atlas sustan nodes and the shrine nodes. Not 100% sure what I want to do with the tree. Might look into farming Breaches and Legions while continuing with Blights and Essences. Maybe Expedition? The world is your Oyster.
Thanks for your work again and the update for 3.18...looking forward to the league and to play this build again! :-)

Concerning your Atlas Skill Tree I understand, that Essences are easy mobs to kill, but to be honest, I never understood the worth of them unless they are upgraded to max level. Do you sell them or do you use them somehow?

And a short question, I played with three offerings until the end of 3.17, what is the disadvantage of this? Isn't it a reasonable alternative?

I'll make a PoB for the tripple offering again cause I liked it too. Won't include it in the general guide though.

It was very strong but really annoying to have your Resistances predicated on Spirit Offering. This meant that you just got oneshotted whenever you "forgot" to refresh offerings with Desecrate which was super annoying for bosses and when looting (Offscreen mobs you missed) imo cause it lead to some unecessary deaths.

Might experiment more with that setup this league, but it was so damn hard to fix the resistances. If we could cap resistances without Spirit Offering I'd probably make it the official low budget setup.

I always sell my essences. Essences are one of those currencies that you want to sell in bulk as it increases the value alot. Certain Deafening Essences sell for over ~12 chaos each in bulk. Lesser ones for ~7 chaos. The worst Deafening go for around 3 chaos in bulk.

The reason why Essence will be cracked this league is because Essence is on the map device so we can guarantee 5 essences on every map.
You'll also be using Remnants of Corruption to corrupt essences. I always use them on all Purple (MEDS) Essences and every essence that has x1 Shrieking and x1 Screaming atleast.

I think every single person will be running Essences this league. It's just too good to pass. Requires close to no investment, is very easy and takes no time at all.
