i wanted to ask why in pob we have calculations with 11 spectras or 11 ice golems ??

Those are the phantasms. Not entirely sure if this is the correct way to calculate this, but I'll trust op to know what they're doing.

That being said, the AG setup needs some changes. Depending on the delve changes, Aul helmet might be affordable but in expedition it was >6ex.
I remember windscream boots being around 1ex too.
I guess Eye of Malice isn't viable either for bossing, since we have a hard time getting them to negative res.

For low budget it's probably best to go with leer cast and dying breadth

Correct, this is the only way I could include the phantasms into the PoB.

When you go to skill gems there's a small box to the right of a skill gem that says "count" where you pick how many of that minions you want to use.
If you check the Carrion Golem skill gem I've put 3 for leveling builds and 5 for low budget as an example.
Same thing goes for spectre if you check the gem links in the Body Armour.

The problem is that I couldn't for the love of god find a way to include the phantasms. When using the Phantasm skill gem, no "count" box appears next to the gem.

To simulate their damage I had to create an entirely different link which I named "Chest - Summon Phantasm:" in all cases.
For some reason, I could put the count of the "base minion" in this chest to represent the phantasms. So I put spectre/golem at 11.
However, this showed the dps of the wrong minion

But by picking the "parent skillgem" (Gem phantasms are linked to) I could then pick Phantasms as an option and from there choose which phantasm ability to check the dps for.

This made the PoB calculations pick the Summon Phantasm Support gems linked to the parent minion, count the dps for the chosen ability by them and multiply that dps by the "count" of that minion.

A very weird solution to make it work, but I think the numbers are correct.

i see. thx for comfirmation on that

Purity of Elements will have 50% Mana Reservation since the next patch. That rises our total mana reserved with Hatred, Skitterbots and PoE (without reservation efficiency applied) to 145.5% or 101.74% with 43% RE from the Sovereignty node cluster applied. Is there any way to solve the problem except removing Bonechill from Skitterbots (94.4% reserved) ?

[3.16] Build update:

I've now finished theory crafting most of my PoBs for the upcoming league start.

Where are we getting the str and dex to hit 134/155 off of 4 items?

Usually you will be less pressured to get the requried attributes in the leveling build because there's no way in hell you're hitting maps with level 20 skill gems.

The biggest hurdle when leveling is getting 134 strength for Clayshaper.
This can be a big problem at level 40ish when you want to equip Clayshapers because you will literally have 0 strength and need 134 to equip it.

My solution simply is to specc into practical application at the beginning of the tree and delay your final skilltree.
I then usually craft a Heavy belt with strength essences for additional strength.

To get the required dexterity to equip items while leveling you need to find a Jade Amulet (Dex/Str hybrid also works). I usually essence craft Dexterity on this amulet too. When you get to maps you will be able bench craft 30 dex on items which is nice.

If you're really desperate for attributes, especially early on, you can spend 4 points and grab 30 strength and 30 dexterity close to the Quick Recovery noteable. These points are very inefficient though and we want to skip getting them at all costs.

GGG seem to have buffed how much resistanes we get from the tree this patch. Sanctuary as an example, provides 40% all res now and getting too points in practical applications will give you 13% additional all res.
This should make you less pressured to find resistances from gear, which you can use to just craft or get Dexterity instead when you start nearing level 20 on your gems during early mapping. Strength requirements become obselete because you will get alot of it from the tree later on (Alot of 10 point strength nodes)

Yeah I saw that, the reservation changes completely flew over my head and I will have to redesign the PoBs.

We'll be botching Purity of Elements entirely, unfortunately. 50% reservation just is too much.

On a positive note, they changed Determination to 35% so we can use that instead.

I'm currently thinking of replacing Purity of Elements with the new Tempest Shield (25%). Tempest shield provides 25% spell block(50% with Glancing Blows) and shock immunity.

The plan would then be to run:
- Hatred (Or pride)
- Skitterbots with Bonechill (And Unbound Ailments if we can fit it)
- Tempest Shield
- Vitality

Will have to try it out in PoB to see if the math checks out though.
We could then pick the new changed Brine King Pantheon for Freeze immunity leaving us both Freeze and Shock immune and pretty much block capped.

For AG: Windsscream is usually pretty cheap. Windshriek (fated version) is expensive, but we don't need it.
For helm: cheapest option is to use a fossil-crafted Nearby enemies have -9% cold resistance (assuming it's still fossil-crafted.. if not, Redeemer Influence) with other random mods. It's similar to Crown, but loses the added damage unfortunately. Still solid for damage.

For weapon, Dying Breath is fine but Kingmaker is better even with the nerf to Fortify... and it might not be as expensive if many people believe spectres and minions are dead.

Determination is still 50% :(
It got flat armor added though, which is pretty huge. Lvl 20 determination is a constant 2k flat + 50% more armor, which paired with a flask should mean pretty easy 10k+ armor at all times.
It'd probably be a solid option in the tanky build. For ailments, there are some extra options in the tree and gear, too.
Crafting a 12 passive large cluster like the one in the intermediate pob seems really difficult. How do you do it?

You sure?
I could swear I read Determination was reduced down to 35% in the manfiesto or the patchnotes. They also gave it like 2300 base armour while giving grace ~30 more evasion or something like that.

I clearly remember wondering why they lowered the reservation on Determination while not touching it on Grace.

Either GGG were sneaky and removed that change or I dreamt it all up.

Buy base
Alteration craft Renewal + 35% effect. Probably easiest using 1 point resonators with Pristine (Life) fossils.
This is the easy part.

Once done you gotta get rid of the suffixes most likely.
Simply pray and use anull orbs.

Once base only has 2 prefixes and no suffixes, finish it with Harvest crafts.
Harvest slam Augment Speed (1/3 to get T1)
Then finish by slamming Augment crit to get Vicious bite 100% of the time.

Another option after getting your 2 prefixes is to spam reforge keep prefix until you get 3% attack speed. If you only get that suffix, slam crit with harvest. If you get 2 suffixes, anull and pray for the 1/4. If it bricks you go again.

It for sure is an expensive jewel, but pretty easy to make and predicated on getting Harvest crafts.

One option maybe could be to use Pristine + Shuddering fossil for Life + Speed mods and then simply finish with Vicious Bite slam from Harvest.
Thinking of it, I think they are adding crit fossils into the game aswell. Maybe using fossils alone could be an option. However, getting the 35% mod is the most important thing so it will require ALOT of tries if you're only gonna use fossils.
