trade bot allowed?

hello use trade bot here is legal?
90% currency trade are bot
after change Pyre, Sapphire Ring 2c to 1c 30 whips in 5 sec
idk why no one post about trade bots here, im confused

They're against the rules, but seem to be tolerated. Might be a sign that they're thinking about adding them as a functional part of the game.

Technically no but most of the curreny orbs you trade for are manned by bots cause really who the hell wants to see in their HO doing 1-4C trade all days.

What you are describing with your pyre sapphire ring are players that setup a livesearch from official pathofexile.com/trade or ( unofficial ) poe.trade websites those are not bots, just smart and organized players.

As for currency trade bots there are some, but they are often comfunded with Mercury trade users that basicly define a set of sentences and just use few buttons to handle a trade smoothly.

If you post an item for significantly below the market price, traders are going to try to snatch it up and resell it.

Win-win.

You don't have to waste your time, and they can make a tidy profit.

Many people have a livesearch up for unique rings for a recipe (don't remember the name of the item)

Yep... any unique ring for 1c will be snatched up. They even nerfed the armor's key feature and people still want them. Post a ring for 1c and you'll get messaged pretty much instantly. It's not botting though. It's just a notification from the trade site.

Bots are typically being used to trade currency. No one wants to waste their time with that.
