What does arrow dodging...dodge?

I did a google search, found a lot of talk about the cap and unrelated to subject talk about iron reflexes mostly.

What is considered a projectile to dodge other than arrows, how about those spine spitting snakes, stuff like that?

I just made a thread about this. lol

Yeah, projectiles include the stuff from those spike-spitting snakes.

After I got it, I could literally just stand in one spot and watch their spikes pass right through me.

I've got acrobatics and a pure evasion build, though, so not sure if it works as well on everybody.
Thanks for replies, mostly I was curious about the damn snake spines, but what else is considered a projectile and not a spell that can't be dodged?

I kinda like the skill just for arrows and snakes but it is 4 nodes out of my way, kinda at a junction of build choices.
Most importantly, it will not affect your reaction to those damn chaos damage snipers in Vaal Ruins and the pyramid. That's considered a spell. For some truly stupid reason. :(

If it's a Construct, then it must be Deconstructed.

And I didn't know that it was spell... It doesn't help now that the previously ranged snakes will have a flamethrower (spell) now. Great.

Doesn't arrow dodging work on all projectiles? Thats what it SAYS it does, it doesn't specify between spell projectiles or ranged attack projectiles, and thats a VERY important factor.

Hell no. if Arrow Dodging worked on all projectiles, the pyramid wouldn't be the shitstorm of pain that it is for an evader.

Arrow dodging doubles your evasion rating against'ranged attacks.' Since evasion and spells don't interact (you need Phase Acrobatics for anything vaguely resembling that, and 20% is quite frankly bloody stupid), Arrow Dodging's evasion boost won't affect how you react to spells.

And yes, the Chaos snipers are completely stealth in their spell projectile nature. Most others are much more obvious -- snake spit is a projectile, skeleton fireballs a spell, etc...
