What does arrow dodging...dodge?
ok, thanks?
Anyways, as the above poster said it makes the snakes much less worrisome. I spent the point, and now instead of running around the packs of snakes, I can stand still, kill them at me leisure with little fear of their damage. It was worth a side track for that point even though I am not an extreme evasion build.

I've got acrobatics and a pure evasion build, though, so not sure if it works as well on everybody.
How does your pure evasion build work? I was very interested in making one.
I just give up energy shield and armor in favor of nothing but evasion (since acrobatics takes both away).
I was a bit hesitant at first but its workin out well so far. We'll see how it goes in cruel mode which I just started.

Doesn't arrow dodging work on all projectiles? Thats what it SAYS it does, it doesn't specify between spell projectiles or ranged attack projectiles, and thats a VERY important factor.
Hell no. if Arrow Dodging worked on all projectiles, the pyramid wouldn't be the shitstorm of pain that it is for an evader.
Arrow dodging doubles your evasion rating against'ranged attacks.' Since evasion and spells don't interact (you need Phase Acrobatics for anything vaguely resembling that, and 20% is quite frankly bloody stupid), Arrow Dodging's evasion boost won't affect how you react to spells.
And yes, the Chaos snipers are completely stealth in their spell projectile nature. Most others are much more obvious -- snake spit is a projectile, skeleton fireballs a spell, etc...
Game should explicity state ranged attack projectiles in the description then.
Anybody saying "oh you're dumb the name clearly says arrows hurr": Name is just flavor. The description should always be 100% accurate REGARDLESS of whether or not you can deduce what it actually does yourself.
That, and the fact that we may get ranged attack projectiles that work with this, but are not actual arrows.

It does explicitly state that in the description. "Doubles chance to Evade Projectile Attacks". It's already 100% accurate.

I guess that the important distinction is the projectile attacks bit. Some projectiles are from spells.

Actually it doubles your chance to evade, which is much stronger than just doubling your Evasion rating.
