Eeks, your claw has more DPS, too bad it doesn't have lightning dmg. :s

Though, it's probably not for sale, at the time of checking over the forums, there weren't any better DPS claws than mine. :)

But yea, was thinking of making a claw char to play with these claws, since the gear is so cheap and no one needs it..

free bump nice claws here...to OP, whats stopping people from getting a tiny amount of lightning dmg on say a ring or something to shock stack? I too am a big fan of shock stacking which is why my shadow is specced with static blows for more shock chance...

I guess what i'm saying is, if a weapon has enough attack speed and the char has enough crit+static blows or conductivity, shouldn't that be better provided that the lightning dmg mod could be replaced with something else? And lightning strike for aoe is already lightning which is another big reason not to worry about lightning dmg on the weapon itself...whats your opinion on this?

That solely depends on the items you can get a hold off. Indeed you can have that ring with lightning damage and maybe some other cool stuff, but depending on the stuff you can get a hold off, I'd say having more elemental damage is a plus, since you can have, say 30% elemental rings with nice stats which would supplement your DPS with more damage. There aren't any rings with 30% physical damage, so having more elemental damage is always a good thing as it gives more variables to play with.

On the other side, if you do want to just be pure Physical Damage, then you can just use that ring with Lightning damage. But that's my opinion only. At some point more Physical Damage doesn't give you more life leech, thereafter I think it's worth your time to invest in some varying strategy for your character. I'd say it's something like, you have to build your char for early game/mid game and end game in different ways and that's why you need to always leave yourself some space for additions to your builds.
