Can we have an option to buy Sulphite?

I'm not gonna launch into the whole thing about how horrible the Sulphite accumulation rates are as many others have done that already.

So changing the rates would probably cause a bunch of imbalance and I get that, but can we at least have an option to buy Sulphite?

Like say...

500 for 1 alch
1000 for 1 chaos

Something like that? I mean you'd still keep the balance and we get to continue to have fun with Delve which I think is the best thing since Breaches.

Just sucks that an amazing piece of the game is there and it takes leveling a whole character just to run 1 delve node at deep depths, doesn't even make it fun.

That's what Sulphite Scarabs are for. A well rolled red map with a Sulphite Scarab can net you like 10k Sulphite.

That is a good method and your right but why not have some other alternatives. I mean I haven't even seen one of those scarabs yet. In fact, I haven't seen any other than the 3 I got in Betrayal and those were from syndicate choices.

Someone made a comment with a much better suggestion. Trade maps to Niko for sulphite. That way you trade one end-game experience for another.

Not a terrible idea, and I certainly wouldn't be against it but how many maps and what type white, yellow or red for how much sulphite would be the next question?

It's still the same thing, just a different way to go about it. Maps instead of currency, both still endgame experiences (currency is used for crafting, zana mods (if chaos), etc).

Especialy on standard league since we dont have any scarabs there. We need sulphite on Standard and need it ASAP !

The only source of scarabs is through Syndicate. Cameria in Interception will give Sulphite Scarabs from his Safehouse chest.

You'll have to settle for the Niko version of "A Master Seeks Help" if you want to buy Sulphite.

Next league, betrayal is core and you can buy your scarabs.

It's not really a secret that GGG doesn't really care if standard has access to some crucial part of a "rework" or not (like, remember Zana mods during legacy league?).

Thanks for the link which is great in Betrayal, but does no good for anyone in Standard.

But seriously, not to be crass, but can we stop posting the Scarabs. They're not a solution to the problem for numerous reasons.

1.) They're in Betrayal only at present, which does no good for anyone in Standard.
2.) When they do come to Standard if they're not made a core mechanic they'll be 50x more expensive which won't even be worth it at that point.
3.) They'll run out and then it's right back to square one.

So yeah in Betrayal it may bandage the cut, but it doesn't heal the overall wound.
