100 hours, no exalted drop. Is this normal?

I have found exalts every so often in both the current league and standard, but it seems like most come from breaking barrels and opening trunks/chests. I can't say that is always true, but it seems enough that I break all barrels and open all trunks.

Just make sure to focus on map quality and quantity overall. Once you get into tier 9 maps and up start using your chisels and such for the good maps. But make sure not to waste too much currency rerolling crappy maps. By crappy I mean maps that you don't run as well with your build. But the ones that you do run well go ahead and use a bit of currency to boost them up and you'll have your first Exalt in no time.

I had to wait five years for an exalt drop but I think that's an outlier. When my wife started playing with me she had one drop in the first week of playing. Hopefully you'll get lucky like that. Just quality the crap out of the higher tier maps! ;)

Person A: clears maps in under 2 minutes - thats about 3000 maps in 100h most likely played with >50% quant

Person B needs over 10 minutes per map, doing prophs and master rotas, challenges etc without any quant -

Person A is much more likely to find an exalt (increased %)- but sometimes rng is a bitch

maybe you trusted a random kid's lootfilter which hides exalts hehehehheeee

as in raw exalt drops? they'll be a fraction of what you'll actually be worth from chaos recipe, other drops, etc, if you trade.

in incursion event i've had 2 exalts drop, and yet i have over 20 ex of gear and currency etc.

well only half true... because you dont run white maps... so more like 40-50 ex... most alched maps have 50-90 iiq and with MAX iiq gear + clearspeed you can get 120 iiq or so

+ 100 iiq from gear ( didnt checked his gear, so could be wrong )


so around 44 ex without the iiq gear but 170 i

You can probably expect an exalt closer to 1000 hours.
