I am running this build in Betrayal and I am wondering if I could get some advice and help on my current character if you have time please Angry_Roleplayer.

Although I have been playing POE for a while, this is only my 2nd character to get to mapping and I find myself getting frustrated my inability to ‘not die’ basically.

My current character in Betrayal is Kaishyn, and I am running a Duelist Frost Blade build (Gladiator). I have just under 4K life.

I am struggling with T1 and T2 maps (Seriously), and wondered if you can give me any tips on my character/gear. Maybe it’s just a personal skill level and POE is not my game. Maybe it’s the lack of understanding of mods on maps that’s causing me issues (I turn each map I run into a Magic version).

I feel like this is one of the better characters I have created, yet find myself getting very frustrated.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Great thanks - I appreciate the reply. A couple of quick questions if I can:

When you say invest in resists, I believe my Cold, Fire and Lightning arte up at 75%, 72% and 75% (Although I will check when I get in this evening). Should I be looking to get Chaos reist up as well. (Or have I misunderstood what you meant by resists).

Also, when you say get a rare helm I should drop Deidbell and get a rare focussed on life and armour?

Eventually you would need 100+ resists. Chaos is very good against Syndicate and Temple.

75 is a hard cap called "maximum resistances". This can be moved with items like Loreweave. An extra +1 max res reduces your elemental damage taken by 4%, which is very powerful. The soft cap is unlimited, however, and is called "overcapped resistances" usually. This is what you see in the stat page as well
