Because spider kills counts as your kill, you will have full power charges in mapping so cold spectre like Redemption Sentry or Knight will have good freeze chance. Safe mapping :)

Use Bone offering, Rumis flask and spec into glancing blows, should get you max spell block/attack block while the flask is up. I use glancing blows first time this league and it makes me feel way tankier, since usually you die because of a big hit that just one shots you instead of small hits killing you since you can react with flask so even if you take 50% damage if you block it makes you way less likely to get oneshot and with bone offering every time you block you get a chunk of your health back.

Damage is unneeded and tankiness is more needed.
So i suggest crafting something like the one I use, easy shaper shield, just spam "aug health" or "replace non-health" in harvest.

Then get glancing blows like Asuras suggested, and you are good to go.
It is a little different from Kay's guide, but really I like to be able to run through everything, so really love it this way.


RK's kill everything anyway, just maybe takes a few seconds longer but you might hit 100 one day... not with that shield from the guide though ;)

I push DPS a lot because it's my style to play and for me it's OK. But I think for people jumping from Base Build (tanky) to Pure Spectres is too much glass cannon.

Old guide actually had tanky shield as default and not Victario...

I will change the build and show how to make tanky first and then also upgrade option for more DPS if you want to.

Also, I think you found out that RK is actually really good. :D It's not as fast as RS because they are melee, but I always feel safer with RK!

I've started working on a new spectre showcase series!

In my new spectre showcase series, I demonstrate different spectres using my Pure Spectres, double clusters build.

Each video shows endgame bossing and mapping. The video starts with a gem overview and Mino kill, then I run a T16 Promenade with 4x added monster sextant mods and legion, breach, elder, ambush scarabs. I also give the pros and cons and end with a brief summary of the spectre.

Slave Driver was a popular request on Youtube, so it's the first one!

Esh Breach is map is most common I think. You will find them from tier 1 map. Then just look for the big purple spider demon and then raise spectre before breach finishes. Don't worry about completing breach.

Ur method is pretty odd.

Large crit jewel is very easy to roll.
1. Buy base (i75+) - 2.5ex.
2. Roll fossils - pristine; pristine + metallic; or pristine + metallic + bound;
The triple fossil package costs like 10-12 c and gives u nearly a guaranteed roll of renewal + feasting + a lightning suff that can easily be removed by harvest.
3. Open a suff with harvest craft
4. Augment crit - 100c - 1ex.

So it costs about 3-4ex to craft it.

Oh sorry Kay, I actually do not use Knights, I do use sentries, my bad, mixed up the letters there.

I have actually not tried the knights, but now that you showed me how to make a spectre bank I might give them a go since they are almost the same gems, I will need to level a multistrike for it first.

One other thing I swapped gems a little, so using meatshield + feeding frenzy for my animated guardian, that means it is defensive,and fortify is close to me + the blind aura. I just recently changed to use animated guardian.

Then I changed my deathmark to elemental army on my spectres, it is not much less dmg, and makes them almost un-killable.

I just checked PoB, when I swap in Ele Focus, they have roughly 2M dps each, that is still insane.

But in regards to the shield debate, I am considering to have the Vicarius one in my offhand, for big bosses.

There is still more crafting to do, and for the first time it is actually managable for "normal players" to make something worthwhile.

I would take double curse over more offering, but it is a prefix.
Also I am doing armor not ES, since I am using the Devouring diadem, so not an option right now. Might consider changing that later, if it get a sick helm.
