Shaders cache is outdated or disabled after 3.3.1 patch

so this is the problem that has hurt performance for many in 3.3.1? i posted about this in the bug reports forum, showing tests i did, where it is observed that the frame time spikes massively the first time any new effect appears on the screen.


IT HAS BEEN A WEEK SINCE THE OP EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM! Please fix this! You broke the game for many people!

Something's definitely broken.

Today I had The Canals in Act 10 freeze on me for 15 seconds when a Beyonder spawned.
Lots of other instances were also very laggy, even moving around in town causes screen stutters.

Haven't had anything even remotely as bad since I bought a new computer 4 years ago.

3.0 introduced loooong loadscreens, but now lag and fps drops are so massive it's terrible.
this was not corrected in 3.3.1b. architects still cause massive fps drops. it's like a slideshow.
Still same. Not corrected by 3.3.1b.
worst thing is no reply from GGG staff :<
Same problem. Game is currently unplayable.
Just want to bump this thread because I'm experiencing the same symptoms as to having lag spikes/fps drops when loading new instances/arenas/incursions and mob packs. I'm really surprised there is no response from GGG on this or at least saying they see the thread and looking into it. Link to my thread with videos showing the performance.
