losing out on the intimidate and the 2 abyss sockets is way too huge

yoU're better off with getting innervate on a helm with +crit
or just go tempest's binding if you really have money

This is almost always the case, but if you've got good movespeed already from something like QotF you may find other nodes are more useful than Tailwind.

This was true for my Deadeye, who already runs fast - I played with Tailwind for a while, but realized Fast and Deadly was simply more useful for the insane dps and ability to quickly blink arrow around. I also felt like Tailwind made me move so fast it was hard to control what was happening, and it just wasn't necessary... my movespeed speed is great without it and my attack speed is only a tiny bit less while packing more punch.

Just wanted to point this out and defend my choice :). For OP, yes, go with Tailwind.

well, first of all we're talking about wanders so no blink arrow.

second of all it's also ~20% attack speed and a bunch of evasion(which translate into more movespeed with QOTF)
it's not just the movespeed.

and you can get both fast and deadly and tailwind even with bow characters

you jsut trade it off for chain/pierce which you can get from skillgems/skillpoints/quivers etc.

I mean I guess there can be some fringe instances where it's no longer worth it, but those need to be very specific

I'd go tailwind, pierce and rupture (you'll need to get some phy damage on a ring or an abyss jewel for rupture to work but it's really good otherwise)
