3.3 Detonate dead+herald of ashes hypu. who will jump on the bandwagon?
The burn combined from those 2 things is already borderline op. How many of you will create a DD+herald character once the new ignite patch is on for 3.3.
Level 81 corps *bam bam burn* it will be beautiful for 3 months until they nerf it. Poe Pvp experience https://youtu.be/Z6eg3aB_V1g?t=302 Dernière édition par Head_Less#6633, le 27 avr. 2018 à 13:47:12 Dernier bump le 27 avr. 2018 à 15:25:23

Isn't DD already quite op?

I'm more interested in thermonuclear wormblaster builds with vaal RF. That shit can still double dip from fire damage.
Or imagine it with indigon. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

I was excited when I saw they were bringing back Ignites since DoTs are my favorite skills. Nothing more satisfying then seeing ED spread to everything or Ignites proliferate to an entire room.
But it seems they might be overdoing it due to how different spells and items work with it so it will either be super OP meta or just as useless as now if they tweak numbers. Finally a reason to buy the Dragon Fireball effect which I've had on my watch list for 2 years but never buy because... why play Fireball really when everything else was a better option. @FCK42 I don't think Indigon would work since it boosts spell damage which doesn't affect ignites (or does it now? haven't played one since they killed all DoTs) |

" Overkill damage from herald of hashes. Gazillions dps on DD explosion level 81 hit a mob--->super burn prolif. In that case Indigon will make the burn from Hashes super broken (was already but not many use that for now). Well Indigon is not really required since you can do that with crit +multi on base DD explosion. Indigon is just more fashionable right now and idiot proof. Wouldn't it be nice if the good ol' Three-Dragons-Ice_Shotter was back on the menu? I really enjoyed that char way back when...

Indigon doesn't effect ignite damage.

Looks interesting for an 2x Poet's Pen build with Unearth for consistent/reliable corpse generation and DD + (with Conc Effect,Controlled Destruction or FirePen).
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." " indirectly used with herald of ashes indigon will buff the burn damage (it s not an ignite per se but the buff they are preparing will buff it too). The patch is nt only about "ignite". they buff all over the fire spectrums So it will buff the burn damage too in many ways. Adding the new combustion will give -19 fire res on ignited enemies, I can imagine a combo where ignited enemies get -19 fire pen and then get overkill burn from DD explosion. "Burn on kill: While Herald of Ash is active, when an enemy is killed, enemies within a radius from the killed enemy are burned based on the overkill damage. Overkill damage refers to total excess damage of the killing hit, including non-fire damage" The highest the damage, the highest it will deal overkill. So in this sense Indigon or crit multi affect the burn from Herald of ashes. Used with Detonate dead it deal insane damage. I'm so happy I bought a pre-nerf Indigon now. Can play with OP ED in Bestiary now and can test a bajillion ignite dps on Standard after.
