How good is varunastra?

I saw it in another way when it came out. It was a weapon that allowed me to go with a lot of defence, since it allowed for few very powerful offensive nodes on the tree, you could skip the rest and not feel as bad since you got the most efficient ones.

Check out TheKingOfCoweards on my profile. Made it to 95 with him but i think that i could get to 100 with him on hc effortlessly. And with the powercreep we got now you can easily make it easily way more powerful.

It probably will, depends on what you want. The thing about of Varunastra is that you can get very decent damage with little investment in the passive tree.

But I personally find that zarathustra really shines with full investments in offense. I also find melee damage clusters of different types quite identical, and the lack of individuality makes me consider those nodes just as a blunt damage boost.

We just have different perception of it, nothing unusual.

I'll try it on standard once abyss ends,I don't think I have enough budget to do double varunastra build on abyss..

Best melee weapon. Give you the option to play melee from any class. Scale good with flat phys. Always go crit, strap on Abyssus and steel rings.

Don't know why people say it's a mediocre weapon when it can kill anything in the game.
