Even stash tabs, TBH, since you can play without them, you just don't get to save very much stuff for later, so gear is use it now or lose it, etc.

Regardless, Bex hinted that it would be on sale next time, which is coming in the next couple of weeks, so cross your fingers and you should have the stash tab soon. (...and so will I, especially now that single tiers in a single tab is the only way to keep the middle organized....)

i find it funny that especially players with family and work, which mostly prevents them from playing the game competitionally and get anywhere, are the biggest supporters, even if they can hardly support it.

It's three fucking dollars. I don't care how poverty-stricken you are, if you can't afford $15, you can't afford $12 when the $15 thing goes on sale. Conversely, if you can afford $12, you can afford $15. Your argument is stupid.

Really... if you can't afford $15 for something that you seem to really want, you really shouldn't be in this hobby. Find a hobby that can make you some extra money, rather than one that costs you some. Knitting. There you go. Knit stuff.

I genuinely don't understand the complaints about the price of map stash tabs anyway.

Do the math.

A regular no-frills stash tab costs 30 points and has 144 storage cells. Which means if you're using it to store maps, you get 144 maps' worth of storage, obviously. This means you get 4.8 storage cells per mtx point spent.

The map stash tab holds 72 of each map. With 157 maps in the Atlas, that's 11,304 total maps' worth of storage. That's 75.36 storage cells per mtx point spent. Even if you adjust for the bell curve of maps hoarded (you'll obviously have far more Gorges, for example, than you will Putrid Cloisters) you still have many times more storage with a map stash tab than you would with ANY other stash tab type.

Even a quad stash tab, which is also 150 points, clocks in at 3.84 storage cells per mtx point - a WORSE deal than the average vanilla stash tab just for pure storage, even though quad tabs have other benefits that make them useful (premium tab, 1/4 the tabs used per storage page, etc).

The map stash tab, at full price, is the best deal in the entire stash tab mtx category. It's an insanely good deal for what you get for those 150 points. I snap-bought one the moment they became available, because I am not terrible at math like most of the community, based on the complaints we've seen.

No thanks, as someone with a wife who knits... it's definitely not cheap, nobody wants to actually pay for hand-knit stuff, and yarn EVERYWHERE in our house. Piles of skeins everywhere.

also, I'm pretty sure you can't even buy 12$ worth of points - you have to buy 15$.

I hate it how people come here talking how it's not a big deal to throw a few bucks here and there, when the thread is literally about an upcoming "SALE".
I personally have 140 points so I'm also waiting for a map tab sale. Not going to buy 10 extra points just to have it now. Also not whining that I can't have it asap, just interested when the sale is.

My guess is that the sale will be this weekend.

IKR? just ignore those rich kids who area throwing tantrum at random posts and lets wait for the big SALE of map stash. anyways, they cant appreciate a value until they know how hard it is so earn money (bet they even live in their mom's basement and never have a social life xD) . rich kids this days. xD
