Oni-Gorochi Farming How?

Imagine if behind the scenes the developers found the "glitch" after it was farmed that way and made it either more difficult or impossible to obtain if not on an endgame map.

People were clearing the zone so that 0 remains shows, and resetting the instance over and over until 1 remains showed. That indicated a new boss had spawned that had to be Uber-Hillock.

Could anyone confirm me that they didn't add a thing in the exploit fix where you can only get one per character? Im like 6hrs dry on two toons, got one on both of them in the first hour of lvl 7.

Not sure what Chris said they (GGG) did a few days back to tweak this item drop. Fortunately you just need to play a few builds in rotation and get RNG lucky. Here's my first one:

 He's dead Jim  Charan's Sword drop    Approximately 5 hours into my 3 Oni-farmer rotation builds. So keep farming and eventually you will get one. Now the next question is whether the post on Reddit (Just dropped a 2nd Oni-Goroshi on 1 character) or the wiki (Oni-Goroshi Charan's Sword) is correct. Can you get more than one on a single build or is it "one and done" for that build and then start a new build? Any one know for sure with proof? "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. 4 Onis on a 4 Character Rotation: Ranger - 4hrs 30min @ Level 8.015 Witch - 4hrs 23min @ Level 8.06 Templar - 3hrs 10min @ Level 7.6 Shadow - 3 hrs 42min @ Level 7.85 Increased Critical Strike Chance : 88%, 84%, 77%, 74% Colors: 4G2R, 3G2R1B, 2G2R2B, 2G3R1B Interesting Happenings: Total amount of runs to reach Level 7 : 23 (All 4 characters made it to Level 7 at their 23rd run and all characters cleared each map until they hit Level 7). Least amount of mobs on a run : 7 (6 Drowned and Hillock). Most amount of mobs on a run : 43. Most corpses on a run : 8. Most amount of barrels on a run : 36. (Sorry, didn't keep track of the explodey ones!) XP amount of a single mob at Level 7 : 5. XP amount of a single mob at Level 8 : 2 (Would have needed approx: 6900 mobs for Level 9!). Witch got unique Goldrim Leather Cap off random Drowned mob. Templar went 24 runs before any flasks dropped. (Ended with 3 health/2 mana medium sized flasks) .......never done anything like this "Farming for a Unique" in all the time I've been playing POE. Thought I would give it a try! Not sure I would do it again, but maybe.....on another holiday weekend. now to make a new character with one of these swords - thanks Charan! " Cool finds. Now let me ask you, did you go "sexy strand" in your mind when you noticed it had 43 mobs? Because that's exactly what i thought when i was level 6 and grinding towards lvl 7 :) Average barrel damage is 5-12 i think btw =) and lowest amount of mobs was 5 for me. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
