Nah... that's a convenient excuse. Data storage is essentially free. They're charging what they can get for it. I would have gone with $20, discounted to $15 on sale days, but I haven't the market data they have. They set the price point without regards to costs. They made the decision to make it at all based on costs, but once they had made it price was set by demand.
