XP Gain and reaching Lvl 100

why cant that frustration be directed towards hard content and not boredom

I've never done the 100 push and get constant enjoyment from playing path of exile, there is absolutely no frustration for me in "not reaching lvl 100".

And if reaching lvl 100 is your goal you decided for yourself to achieve, then do it, irrelevant of time/xp required to achieve it. Prove to yourself you can get it, if that fulfills you.

Don't drag the entire "reaching lvl 100" achievement down just because you want it to be easily achievable within your limits.

The point is that sooner or later but majority of players (each of us) will make an attempt to get there
and they will not be able to do so.
If you watched the stream they said that without bitchboys, trade/farmboys, sextant blocking etc. you would need quadrupled time compared to them (of course if you do not die and lose exp).
Insane.

Frustration is vital to a game being enjoyable. Overcoming frustration is what makes it fun.

Sure ... if you are a masochist, why not!))

Insane? Why?

You wan't to reach your goal?(=reaching 100) You make a plan and dedicate resources and time towards it.

Just like every other goal that provides enjoyment within the sand-box of PoE.

You think anything fundamentally changes with how it is today? You think currently a casual player doesn't take quadruple the time compared to efficient teams, is the community really that detached from reality?

Absolutely nothing changes with this.

The goal "reaching lvl 100" is still the same goal as before.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

It is like claiming 1000m run,100m run and run with bear traps on every second meter is the same, because the goal is winning the race

Basically killing every human would be better than finding cure to cancer because goal was ending human suffering.

From my view It is not about goals but about the way you reach those goals, because that does define worth of your goal.

I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!
