How to Minotaur?

I'm still fascinated he can do everything else but minatour.

Like I can't even say git gud to a degree because HE CAN DO THE OTHER BOSSES.

This is not about DpS, but about EHP. You need just enough DpS to recover your life pool instantly.

With 9k life and VP, I can stand there forever, no matter what he does (in the middle of falling
rocks), unless I stacked more than 1 dangerous mod on him.

my problem with the minotaur fight was that he kept moving away from my bv char while rocks were falling everywhere.
So i could do fine then suddenly he moves away and i am dead.
Reading the thread i will now unsummon the golem as that may have been the culprit.
Still i usually top out at 7k hp without using kaoms.

Or unless you are REALLY tanky ;)

You still risk to die if you get him simultaneously by falling rock and slam. Not with that build shown, maybe (that does millon hits/sec with icestorm), but for many others - it's possible.
And in shown video Minotaur had only Vulnerability among damage mods, by far not the strongest mod (considering that 30% of his damage is lightning).
I could do those mods as well. Even if there was physreflect (my damage is 100% physical) and 40% phys resist - no problem, still easy for Slayer.

i wont deny the fact that Cloaked in Savagery (Vessel of Vinktar) + Vaal Pact combo is ridiculously OP, though.

Try this? Use a basalt flask, Major God - Soul of Solaris, Minor God - Soul of Tukohama. Equip your RF into a pair of gloves that were crafted with +30 ele damage to socketed gems, and use Scorching ray in your 5 or 6L along with leech. You should have zero problems.

Pretty sure life leech and scorching ray have 0 interaction because SR does not "hit".

Blind him. Blind is really underrated. Unlike the curses, there is no 'blind mitigation'. Blind affects the falling rocks too, they are Mino's hits. Here's one of my early tests in Beta 3.0, with just 4k life: I don't even get hit often despite standing in double falling rocks.

Of course, Blind only works if you are not using Unwavering Stance/Kaom Roots.

I dont underrate blind, Stibnite Flask is my favourite one.
There IS blid mitigation, that appears as map mods, btw. "evasion is unlucky" or so. Also, 65% chance to evade blind (another mod).
