Thanks for the insight I actually managed to increase my dps by about 50k by reallocating a few points and picking up some cheap jewels. You can find 18% total attack speed jewels for like 10c... I bought one with 12% atk spd and 7% life for 1.5ex because I simply like my hp but no life is significantly cheaper, as I said, 10c.

I'm up to about 680k dps in PoB now :D

wow, 680k? with or without buffs (ancestral warchief? 1st wave only?)

im atm up to 800k 1st wave full buffed with lions roar on contability. what Pdps is ur axe?

edit.: does increased attack speed crafted on ur offhand affects global? or just whirling blades? im not even using whirling blades anymore

edit2.: i felt need for better life flaskes so i started using a perfect blood of the karui and felt it was really good for this amount of hp i'm reaching, anyone tried it out?

Yes it does! I didn't think it would either but it does actually! I tested this in-game as I rolled a 13% the first time, removed it and saw X attacks per second and crafted it back on and saw X + Y attacks per second.

Yes that's "Primary Wave" with buffs up... you're 120k higher? Geezz



EDIT: I WAS MISTAKEN!! Attack speed on your off-hand only affects whirling blades. It changes your tooltip dps but this is faulty. If you check in PoB you can see it has no impact on Sunder's dps.

yep... now i changed some 18% aspd jewels for 10% / 12% + life and it dropped to 770k, however i can guarantee u that my dps difference comes from 10% extra fire rings and different tree. Life atm 5700...

also, im considering using herald of ash to increase it even further instead of arctic armour which i dont feel like very useful lately, however i might be wrong. fire additional damage stacks with rings from herald of ash, so maybe it will work... will tell later any updates

edit, update.: with herald of ash 20/20 i get 810k dps, with only 1 extra fire ring... when i get 2 i'll see it again, need 2 more exalteds to buy the one i'm looking for ATM. Also got a 400PDPS axe, need to get a better one to check it out

update 2.: i've tried editing via PoB to +attackspeed on my offhand and it didn't affect my dps at all, are u sure it does affect?

You got an answer from another user already that was correct so I didn't reply myself as I can't say anything else, much.

Iron Reflexes is not worth it. You gain 2% more phys reduction.
Rather take ambidexterity.
You have a useless cwdt blood rage instead of a useful curse
And your DPS is at 375k on just the mainwave with flasks. Please check my PoB Link under "Configuration" how to setup your character to show everything and check all flasks under items.

And for calculating the DPS please add up the DPS from all sources applicable.
Only Sunder for white dps and sunder + warchief for bosses with adds and sunder without secondary wave + Warchief for single target bosses.

why is your blood rage repeated, on cwdt and also not on it? try enduring cry instead of one... also, why wont u level it up?

is it possible to do shaper with this build? i've tried and didn't manage to achieve it... only got to his second phase, got one hit killed by almost any of his attacks even with purity of ice. any tips?

what if we give up crimson dance?

First off: Take out the whole thing on the lower left you put in extra. It does NOT! help you at all. Instead of those wasted points take "Berserking" it is a super strong node. Also take the last 2 nodes from the life wheel.
Please note, the tree is VERY planned and changes can lead to dramatically worse outcomes.

Your gem setups are also a bit weird. Especially the only one socket Ancestral Warchief, he is a huge game changer in terms of bosses, especially high end bosses like shaper, red elder and uber elder.

Also. ALL! Content (Hall of Grandmasters with a changed setup that I am not sure about still works in 3.2 is an exception)has been done with the gear you see in my Path of Building link. Only unknown with that original gear is uber elder. With 3.2 Gear Uber Elder has been successfully destroyed with my build. Shaper is definitely very viable already with my medium gear. You have about 40% more damage and ~500 more life. So Shaper should be a cakewalk. If you die to his stuff it is just you not playing along against his attacks. As stated mutliple times, this build is NOT! a quadzillion dps - facetank build. It is strong and can do all content, when you play the boss mechanics.

Edit: Taking out Crimson Dance won't do anything for you and will even lead to worse results on bosses that don't constantly walk as you will do much less damage with bleeding on them. YES we do little bleeding but it is a free dot (Bleed DPS * 8 as PoB only shows bleeding for one stack. In your case it's ~52000 DPS). Extra damage and a perfect help against regeneration and energy shields.

i've uploaded ur original tree for same level and when comparing, every stat's higher on mine now, except for leech and armour and bleeding total dps, for the one i'm achieving with this current tree. its very dependent on jewels, but i'm even getting 4% total extra block, which i believe will help. give me your kind feedback again after checking it out with proper jewels on all slots. not missing crimson dance yet, but didn't went for shaper again, will learn how to play it proper before.

edit: why is berserking good? can't i find that same effect on jewels for 2 chaos, DPS-wise? (18% total attack speed for sunder) is it due to whirling blades going even faster? and leap slam?
