Hi all ... What an amazing build, so much flexibility that can handle almost anything with little to no tweaking! With my style of play, it's now my top boss killing build ... so can I get a gear/build review please so that I can take it to the max! My profile should be public.
The current gear is for general use/mapping. If I have a super tough fight, I can swap in a life/mana/chaos resist ring and/or Advancing Fortress. The gem combination that I used in the Hungry Loop was specifically to allow me to alternatively socket a Raise Spectre for SGs ... should I ever want to use them without completely restructuring my gear. I have the Anima Stone for 2 Flame Golems and I am content with the clear speed with the Loop'd FGs, plus I still have the flexibility to swap out 3 jewels to allow me to add one more FG.
Below is my list of things that I want to upgrade, in order of priority:
- GLOVES; Maintain the existing stats, but with more Dex & Life, plus space for crafting Minion Damage.
- HELM: Maintain the existing, important stats, but with more Life & Level 20 Minion Life; Bonus with Minion Damage and/or Dex
- ARMOR: Buy or craft a 6L; Then add Chance to Ignite or Minion Resistances (as needed)
- GEMS: Empower level 4, Animated Guardian/Spectre level 21, then other DPS gems
- JEWELS: Maintain the existing stats, but with more life/mana
- RING (right): Maintain the existing stats, but with more Life
- BOOTS: Better enchant
- WEAPON: Scourge w/ Culling Strike
- AMMY: +1 curse on The Anvil, then switch to Arc+Temporal Chains
- BELT: Maintain the existing stats, but with higher numbers
Once I can get 17 more Dex somewhere, I will drop the +30 Dex node. All further passive points will go into Life nodes. Thank you in advance for any input.
You've got a pretty good handle on everything.
Just a couple of things.
- If you're going with a culling strike Scourge, I'd suggest sticking with your existing amulet, and don't bother with the +1 curse. You need to drop GMP in your curse setup for dual curse, and with culling strike, you want to be hitting as many things as possible all the time.
- Your flasks. I'd far rather have slow recovery flasks for my bleed / freeze flasks. Instant recovery flasks let you recover from an ailment, but they don't make you invulnerable to the effect for any length of time, because you lose the effect as soon as you are healed - which with those flasks, is instant. Also, note that extra quality on the Forbidden Taste increases it's effective time - which, in this case, means you take more damage!
- Your boot enchant is pretty much perfect. More speed between packs is awesome.

My 5 cents:
- very robust, flexible and solid build, idk what to play next league cuz everything else seems weak;
- in my expirience you need abyss jewels with +minion resistance in evey slot, otherwise your Animate guardian will die to uAtziri or Shaper (plus lvl 4 Empower, lvl 21 minion life) or you can put in lvl 21 minion resistances gems in link;
- shield with health recovery on block makes you literally immortal (ofc you need spell block on shield+amulet). you cant die as long as Bone offering is up. if you can get shock enemies on block on top of that - it's gg (probably VERY expensive option) but not really necessary. other 2 desirable stats is health and armour;
- Soul of Gruthkul & Soul of Solaris;
- Solar guards for mapping and all bosses up to t16. Guardians and above you would like to have 1 Wicker man and 3 Tukohamas vanguard (you can do t16 bosses with Solar guards but its not that comfortable as with Tukohamas vanguard);
- Mana leech shaper gloves are nice;
That's about it.
P.S.
You can't do Virici's missions :D

But 3 TVs + 1 wicker man sucks at clearspeed :(
That´s the reason why I´m doing up to T16 (included) with 4 SGs, only swapping to 4 TVs vs Shaper and Uber

Thank you for your feedback grimjack! Your points are exactly the reasons why I asked for the review.
- On the point about the cullstrk Scourge vs. +1 curse ammy. The former item is offensive, the later could be offensive or defensive depending on the extra curse. In general, defense has not been much of a problem, especially being on softcore. Which one of the two would you upgrade if this was your toon?
- Flasks: excellent points that I was not aware of or considered, I get all of them updated.
- Boot enchant: It is true and I agree that the move speed is useful. I was just considering the enchants that were listed in the guide. I have a another pair that I can put one of the other listed enchants on, should I feel the need. Obviously a low priority.
Now I just need to earn a lot of Ex to buy all of these upgrades! o.O

On the Scourge vs. +1 curse, I'd go Scourge. I tried the +1 curse and didn't like it. 2 curses is really nice for hardcore when you run into bosses in maps, but it doesn't extend to guardians or shaper due to their high curse resistance - while culling strike always works.
I fully support multiple pieces of gear - I have 2 helmets, both with their own fully leveled gems, three shields, and 3 amulets. I swap gear depending on what I'm doing - xp party rotas, yellow map rushes, farming items from high level reds, uber lab, shaper, etc.

I'm happy to report that my first shaper attempt went smooth and deathless.
I used 3x Tukohamas and 1x Wicker Man
Had to pull out my Guardian during the shaper beams with convocation to avoid its death. And sometimes during the hailstorm thing or whatever you call it.
I only had AG linked to lvl 3 empower in a +2 helmet and nothing else, although I added minion life now.
During the second phase I messed up and had Zana die. But i survived the hailstorm without taking a single it. (Ty max spellblock)
The build is working brilliant so far :)
This is my current setup, in case someone is interested:
Edit:
Also managed to finish Vaal Temple (not too rippy mods) and uber Atziri deathless. And I've never done them before
Nice! I'd probably drop your dual socket belt for a single socket with life / resists / maybe armour.
And I'd be really interested to know how close you are maxing spell block with Rumi's and Bone Offering up without that amulet. I suspect you are massively overcapped on spell block. :)
Sry for the super-late reply.
For what it's worth, my spellblock is in fact capped with just bone offering.
Rumi's I only use to cap my normal block.
W/o the amulet I'm sitting on 62/55 and popping the flask (if it would be a max roll) sets me to 75/70.
Just as additional info, in case it wasn't mentioned somewhere already:
If you find abyssal dephts in guardian maps you can summon spectres there which will be the T17 equivalent since the depths are always +1 level.
The reason I opted for the dual socket belt is that I feel that I'm "tanky" enough and wanted some more dps for my spectres aswell as only invest a few jewels to fix my dex issues (as the belt gives you a 50% bonus to socketed gems)
I got 4.8k armour so that won't really do much on the belt, res is capped aswell.
The only thing I would upgrade is my amulet as it was a half-hearted craft for a quick fix.

Hey guys, I dont know if the question is already asked (if it is I am sorry, I couldnt find it) but, I am using ball lighning to apply the curses, but the cast speed and speed of BL are way too slow than solar guards's and like in 90% of the times they hit first.This had to fck up EE right? is there any hmmm tactic or something else that I should do, so I can do better ? So far I am fighting t9-10 maps with ease..havent got any bigger to try, so i cant exactly see if the dmg is lower or higher , but in theorry enemies are always +fire resistance since SG hits them first

I prefer to use Arc (at max lvl chains 7 times) and I just saw your profile, for SG I will advise you to use Projectile Weakness instead of one of the other two curses (better clearspeed in pack, I will find).
For your last sentence, EE can only be triggered by you or your totems, never by your minions.
