i just tried this in PoB and Pledge wins vs femurs in dps in any case with my build set up - i added a lvl 1 faster casting to simulate the cast speed from femurs as well.
Its good only with l4 empower. +lvl grants lot of dps on pob.

Ye i added empower 4, it still is worse. i added faster casting as 7th link to simulate the cast speed from femurs not as full link. Yes lvl give alot dmg but an extra link is stronger.

you probably could, you'll lose alot of damage.
I cant realy recommend it.

It is updated, for the old pure skellys set up you can find all the gear at the "GEAR" section. I'll add second PoB link for the old set up once i'm at my pc.

forgot to mention ther is one mistake on Tree we dont need Soul Weaver in asscnd tree cause we dont use spectres

There is a pob link for both set ups.
The passivie tree linked also has the spectre set up.
